Appreciate the deep dive 😁 not sure if this is a bad idea or not but I think it'd be cool if each boss got some honorable mentions for which units are really good against them. You touch on it by mentioning debuffers for the Disciple and on Kafka - I think it'd be cool to expand upon that idea but it might make the video length too long. We also have quite a limited roster right now so maybe something more of value later down the line than now

Hello, thanks for the video, very informative. Just wanted to note, in the video (8:54) you said the fish cleaves, but it's a team-wide aoe. In your video, it hits all four party members evenly.

Just do first 3 stages to dip in. If you're TB 50+ they should be doable, just need to get 8 characters half built

@@aej909MoC is farming though. The first 3 aren't hard for TL 50+ once you start getting characters leveled, and I imagine the next 3 at least should be quite doable for TL 60. If you just don't like doing it then obviously don't, but if you're trying to maximize characters there's no reason not to complete the easy levels.

Why are all of you so scared of MoC I’m literally TB 49 and I 3 * 2 stages and 2 * 2 stages and 1 * a stage

@@final2k565 To be fair, that can be hard to do if you don't have the right team. I could complete 3 stages at that level, but as someone who did not pull for seele or jing yuan, and had pretty useless relics at the time, my teams couldn't 3*, and I think I hit the turn limit on floor 4 and didn't bother finishing it till after I hit 50. If someone just didn't build a second team, which I think there's several valid reasons not to, they might still only be able to beat a few floors even after TB60, and if you're getting very little it might not be worth the effort.

Something worth mentioning about the gatekeeper is that his aoe attack applies a weakness debuff on your character which reduce their damage by 20% if I'm not mistaken so my stategy is to get him into sanction mode before he applies his debuff

@@enzoongweekiat1711 sanction remove the enemy weakness, give it some speed and changes its attack pattern, the weakness debuff is its aoe attack in normal mode when it scan and increase its saction rate

That's why I hate this Bonky B-Tard so much, dmg decrease you via eyebeam, if you cant one shot those fish bombs they decrease your def by 30% then the killer move of the Bonky B-Tard is his BONKY STAB of death 🤣😅

Pela, Welt, and Sushang has felt really good for me this cycle. Pela especially has been amazing with her great break with the new LC + buff shedding.

Silver Wolf can apply 7 total debuffs and whats more she can do it in just one rotation. Ult - Def Reduction Skill - Weakness Implant, Elemental Type Reduction, All Type Res Reduction Bugs - ATK down SPD down DEF down Ult Skill Auto Auto leaves you with 7 debuffs if you hit all your bugs

I've heard QQ is really good against the gatekeeper, not only because she does AoE damage to help with the fish but also because all of her damage (besides ult) is from her enhanced basic attack which doesn't stack sanction.

Absolutely a very good point there! In the best case scenario where you avoid attacking it with any skill or ultimate at all you could definitely mitigate a lot of sanction mode with this.

Do I read the ability of the mob wrong? It says sanction increases when your team uses skill or ultimates. Isn't qq spamming the skill?

@@player-gm4py It increases when the enemy is hit by a skill, not when you use a skill. QQ's skill doesn't damage the mob so it doesn't increase sanction.

Clara is a great counter against aurumaton gatekeeper, just pop her ult when he is at 66% sanction rate. When he does aoe scan and gets to 100%, his sanction mode activation takes priority before anything else. So he hits Clara, summons fishes and then after that Svarog will counter and immediately remove 1 toughness bar from fishes. After that either use Clara skill to break fishes, or wait till boss hits someone from your team again for second enhanced Svarog counter. Fish selfdestruct shreds def on enemy side and both fishes friendly fire debuff will stack together, making boss way more squishy.

Btw Swordplay seems to be an underrated light cone for building some of these dps units. I tested it with Yanqing on prydwen and it makes him do more damage than with the other 5* hunt light cones when all stacks are active

I actually saw a full clear of the last MoC (not 30/30 stars) that used no gacha characters and featured Herta on all stages recently I think this is a good sign for Herta mains!

For the disciple of sanctus medicus, I used YQ, gepard, welt and I found out that I could just keep breaking him + welt slow and he never gets to attack or heal so I can just ignore the adds as gepard has enough sheild, although they can be almost one shot by YQ.

@@GrimroGacha It worked on the one on floor 3 but the one on floor 5 felt too tanky and also a bit faster, also more effect res, I tried again on the one on floor 3 and it didn't work very well as he still healed a lot, so its probably not reliable, YQ killing the adds was easier, I'll make posts on my MoC teams on the discord later

also i used yq-bronya-welt-gepard as I didn't build pela because I already had welt and 2 other ice, now that I got SW and the new moc buff, i'm thinking about building Pela but i'll wait till your SW QnA video to decide as you can often just block one of the other elements in SW teams.

against the gatekeeper bring natasha + clara/jing yuan/welt or serval if u dont have all the 5* . natasha can dispell the stun or sustain it if she gets stunned. focus the gatekeeper and aoe the fishes additionally

Hey Grim, thanks for MOC breakdown. Yesterday I was able to finally get 30/30 MOC. Barely made it - Kafka died because of freeze damage at the end of cycle 20. Since I don’t have many high lvl chars I had to bruteforce to some extent. I haven’t pulled for any limited banner other than Seele - skipping 1.2 aswell - going straight for 5 star Dan :> My teams for MOC 1-7 and 9 were as follows : T1 : Seele (E2/LC1) - Bailu (E0/f2p LC) - Bronya(E0/fp2 LC) - FireMC T2: Yangqing(E0/f2p LC) - Tingyun(E0) - Natasha(E6) - Gepard (E0/LC1) For MOC 8 and MOC 10 I had to switch to more offensive roster and hope for some lucky crits for team 1 (Seele). T1: Seele (E2/LC1) - Bailu (E0/f2p LC) - Bronya(E0/fp2 LC) - Tingyun(E0) Hypercarry took 3 cycles to finish part1 MOC10 T2 : Yangqing(E0/f2p LC) - Peela(E6) - Natasha(E6) - Gepard (E0/LC1) Team 2 took 17 (LOL) cycles to finish Kafka. Yangqing is really bad there, but I only have 2 dps built.

You'll want to get rid of the quantum weaknesses quickly with strong aoe attacks, luckily QQ is a quantum aoe damage dealer that will be featured on Luocha's banner - Which is why I’m looking forward to Grimro’s QQ guide!

I was able to get 3 stars up to floor 5, and got completely destroyed in floor 6 las rotation, so i might actually be able to survive with the dmg decrease

Yo Grim. Have you finished MoC 9 on 1.1? Currently stuck on said floor. What party would you use for that one? I have Seele and JY as main DPSers and JY is having trouble with both sides even with SW. I have YQ, but he seems to take longer than JY on the 1st part due to him being single target. I do dispel the big disciple w Pela and focus fire on it since killing the smaller ones takes way longer.

My biggest issue is damage output because I’m not TB 50 yet :( still got to stage 5 tho. You can easily survive with march 7th and Fire TB + Nat

Hitting higher level boosts your break damage and team damage a lot you’re gonna get a big boost!

@4:50 Bit nit-picky, but no, you cannot use Luocha here. This MoC lasts for 14 days and Luocha isn't available for ~15.5 days

Although that is true, the likelyhood of the enemy lineup changing is so low that you can assume the next one is the same. (If they follow the same pattern as 1.0 and Genshin Impacts Spiral Abyss system)

This new line-up kicked my poor bum too hard lol. I was able to get 3stars on floors 1-4 and 2 stars on floor 5 on previous rotation. This time I got only 2 stars everywhere, and couldn't even beat floor 5 lol

Last round I could go 6* with floor 1 to 3. Now I am struggling on floor 1 since my team is single target focused and I have a hard time dealing with the Mara boss I have a idea that could help me clear but it would require me to invest in 2 other units(replacing Yanging and Silverwolf with Pela and Dan) but that would require me to spread my ressources even more... I havent even begin to farm gold relics, most of my units still run purple

You shouldnt need to make such a drastic change for MoC 1 silver and yanqing are super solid this MoC if you have some footage of your run you can dm it to me on discord I will do my best to help but I imagine its likely an investment or strategy issue over unit issue.

@@GrimroGacha Thanks, I know I need to invest a lot more, neither my traces or relics are that good. As for strategy, finding out what works and what doesnt is part of the fun of a strategy game. I also tried my idea with Dan and Pela(level 50) and it worked really well, just 1 star and 17 turns remaining but I was expecting that since they were also undergeared and undertraced

Strong sustaining characters really do seem to be pulling their weight in the convenience department however I've seen quite a few successful high runs without them so don't lose hope!

Just cleared MoC 1.1 with 30 stars! Definitely so much harder versus the previous MoC. Also just something I noticed, marastruck elites only summon reinforcements twice- so eliminate them asap to prevent hp regen!

I was wondering why this game just have 4 slot for a team instead of 5 🤔🤔🤔 Limited rotation is annoying while the game has a much role, if they add 1 slot for team its better i think While the resource are scared, we didnt have option like reset character... So we can freely mix a team what we want I know its earlier to say that, at least that has to be add in this game if they want thwir game survive Lacking content thats why some people leave, and will still continue if they dont improve their game Good luck Mihoyo

Auramaton gatekeaper has an imprisonment resistance, so Welt is a poor option against him. EDIT: this is wrong. The deer is the one who is resistant to imprisonment

I'm trying to level up all the characters so I can give fair assessments of their power level with first hand experience. I'd also like to showcase some teams which are outside of the meta ones containing YQ, Seele or Jing Yuan but that requires having them levelled. I try not to market my videos as F2P but aim to provide as much help as possible.

Relics are likely what you're missing, some good purple ones can help you make some progress. The free relic xp from simulated universe can help you level them up!
