Word is that Wolf believes in a draft and develop approach. After investing heavily in the receiving corps during the draft, I can't imagine them breaking the bank for any WR.

I like that approach as well, but would be nice to bring a solid #1. I hope Polk and Baker can develop like people say they can!

@@SportsTalkPatriots Agreed! If he can stay healthy, I think Pop Douglas could have a breakout year. Saw an interesting take on YT where one analyst looked at all the times last year that Pop was wide open, and bad QB play led to errant throws or him not being noticed. The projected Delta would have had Pop getting 900+ yards and 5 TDs! Add to that the 4 games he was benched for one drop, plus the time he missed for injury, and the "what-might-have-been" could have been truly astounding last season.

@@SportsTalkPatriots your sound interface uses phantom power and you need convert to mono so if using bandi cam click mic then click filter then click convert to mono before recording other wize records one speaker left or right at a time

If pats make a move let it be for a top LT. Fixes the whole oline helps the whole offense Theres enough at wr to see what ya got before you make the next move. Left tackle is the big move to make. A good young player

Tackle is a big need and will most likely be dealt with next year during the draft!

The concern is he’ll be paid but leaving a winning culture to a rebuilding culture. He was in the SB last year and the 49ers are favorites this year. Will he be happy on a rebuilding team?

I mean does San Fran give off a vibe that they want him back? I think that is the biggest question. Sure anyone wants a Super Bowl but more importantly ya wanna be where you feel wanted.

@@SportsTalkPatriots he wants to be wanted by another SB contender. He wants to get paid and to be winning now. He was pissed about Purdy’s SB performance. He wanted more targets in the SB and Purdy missed him wide open in the end zone. So if he’s complaining about Purdy who’s targeting him more each season then imagine what he’s gonna have to endure in NE, yet paid. I’d like to have in NE, but I’d want his mentality to be “all in” knowing he’s gonna be relied on as a professional leader of that team. The highest paid player on that team.

You lost me at first round pick. No thanks for this team and again you have 2wr drafted who each can turn into a top wr with Maye chucking deep balls. 2nd add in the ridicules money and its hard no. 3rd is he really a top 5 wr? I dont think so. When you play with 3 other studs at wr/te/rb in a great system hard to tell. He was in Kyles doghouse for a reason his first year. These are major flags to me. If they wanted to take back Bourne on a very reasonable contract and some later picks then maybe but again he aint a game changing wr to me at all and rather see what we have in Baker/Polk. They need a tackle far more.

Four BUMS that have to go, Rager juju Thorton and Zappy. They’re all useless. we have Marcus Jones to return punts and kickoffs. We don’t need Reagor to tie up a wide receiver spot because he absolutely sucks as a wide receiver. I’d rather have booty give them one more year. I think he’s gonna be awesome.

@@SportsTalkPatriots yeah they locked out on that but remember they had a great line and they build up their team with 1 million players because of the pervert. We’re nothing like them. We have terrible talent and we only had eight pics in the draft. We don’t have a bunch of number ones number twos and the following year a bunch of number ones and number two pics they’re much different where we were at.
