He only comes out as an LR status character and you need to 10/10 him to unlock his full passive and skill effects, otherwise he's worthless and finally, he only appears from being summoned once you've spent 10k gems or higher.

@@logicallylazy His ultimate have 2 additional effects that have nothing to do with using ultimate - after death damage on enemies (6/6 does 50% of their HP, 1/6 does 0% literally) and AOE damage hp decrease. AOE damage is more significant P2W part - because at 6/6 he decreases 100% of the damage he deals (essentially having double damage if it does less than 30%), at 1/6 only 30%. So AOE of 1/6 have 130% of its damage, and at 6/6 its 200% Meaning AOE skill of 1/6 Escanor is trash.

Escanor is a really good unit, but the neccesity for us to have him 5/6 to max out his passive from his ultimate is in my opinion a little too high. The incinerate on his aoe is barely noticable at 30 % and ok at best at 60%. The explosion not even being a thing at 1/6 is not cool. I wish he wasnt so dupe hungry, since i only managed to get one pity escanor from my saved gems, since i did one rotation at collab. I hope i get him to at least 3/6 so the incinerate is at least decent.

In the Spanish speaking community the general image of escanor is that he is weak kinda like Arthur when he released. I think it originated from a youtuber that did like 80k damage with escanor's ult

The reason people say Escanor's mid is because, if you don't get him 4/6 or higher, you don't have half of his kit. The AOE doesn't do anything at 1/6. And especially since he has a Grace, he's incredibly dupe hungry, because he'll be used as a link even if he's not used as a unit. It's the same as with Queen Liz, which people also hated, but for some reason it's better here because it's Escanor?

Nagato can use any mid tier unit, make his team and it will look good - but that will not mean that unit itself is OP. @@nahimanaraoul5349 there is no such thing as fair matchmaking in gracro pvp every match is random regardless of how much CC you have and 7m-9.5m box is like 290-360k no CC food but that is not my point yeah sure it looks good when Nagato's using him but that's because he's getting so much stats from constellations. Arthur when he was released you get his passive and you wipe the enemy team sure you want him to go first but in some instances you can still get a comeback going second.

Box CC you can cheat easily by giving all your characters HP/def gears, constellations on the other hand you can't get many of those if you don't spend money and gems for dupes and outfits not to mention the amount of pendants and SA coins you would need to max every single character in your box.

What people mean, I think is that you have all costumes + maxed out, you have all equipment maxed out + all 15% stats and you have a 6/6 super passive. Average + FTP players, don't have that. So, after watching some of these PTP KZfaqrs, their Escanor feels pretty weak even in the PVE end game.

They should buff him to work with goddesses as well. I mean he has a grace c'mon. He doesn't have to count as a goddess himself, that way sins and humans would still be his meta teams, goddesses would just be viable 3rd, both Queen Liz and Mael are on his banner after all.

2:30 i agree he's strong imo bc he can affect the entre match and he doesn't have to do the damage necessarily. he dies and give allies a pretty good damage buff, i"ve brought matches back 2v3 because of it. then when it's him 1v2 or 3 he gets such high atk this single target slaps. his stopping of extra hp on enemies is very helpful as well! i can understand ppl saying he's bad bc most players will have 1 copy. i tried him 1/6 and he was ight, so i can see how he could be viewed as bad from lower box cc players
