An early morning visit to Bramley moore. In this update we take a good look at the ground work, A lot more trees have gone in and a new gate entrance is being installed in the wall. we also take a good look at each stand and a pan of the inside.

Your videos are always great to relax into and observe at leisure. Thanks, Paul. Enjoyed watching the contractors go about their business spray-painting the mezzanine in front of the main Portal. I was concerned there'd be yellow footprints over the adjoining screed.

They have positioned a stock of barrel panels at the south end of the East Stand, which suggests that the South Stand roof is close to being finished.

Nice work as ever. Interesting that the Leich pattern is quite visible in the north facing facade of the NW corner. Wonder if it’s visible all over from close by… edit: visible in the other corners too

Steve: yes, Paul's videos always have revealed the Leitch pattern on the NNW facade, in dull light. He flies a lot lower than other droners and scans very slowly. You can see the pattern all over the facades on this video, on a big screen, and apart from the NNW facade, many of the ESE and WNW ones show up too.

Good video. Don't know why they have so many open spaces.we could of had a few hundred more seats

Eaman: I respect your opinion and it'd be a danger to open up too much of a detailed discussion but risk and reward, cost and profitable returns, HSE/Environmental/Climate/Heritage/Planner stakeholders and sufficient open space too, all had to be balanced. Without direct skin in the game, it's always easy to criticise that they should have done this or that or much more. As it is, FM has struggled to fund it all in the end as it has bled his liquid assets dry and put the source of those funds beyond reach due to the Russian Sanctions. That's why he's ended up selling out. In addition, this site has to provide benefit on all days, not just match days.

Not an Everton fan so just enjoying the video. The stadium looks very unique but I’m intrigued by the “mezzanine” section on the outside of the west stand. Does anyone know what its purpose is or is it to simply to help with the out flow of fans on match days ? Cheers

It's a players and officials and VIP entrance i think.. the team coaches will enter and arrive underneath the mezzanine. If you look at the larger site you can see where the road is that will allow the coaches and other vehicles to access the site from the south.

@nicknewman7848 vehicles will not travel under the mezzanine - its primarily to protect fans from the wind when entering and leaving the west stand plus the planners wanted something "less plain" facing the river.

@@JayEFC1969 So they're going to get all the players, officials and other VIP's to park in the car park and walk 50+ yards before they can get into the ground? Doesn't seem like a good idea when your intention is to protect people from the elements.

It's essentially a viewing platform for fans to sit on, and look out at the Mersey, it also acts as a fire escape for the upper levels on the West Side, shelter and access are other benefits it will provide.
