@@dragonheart1357 Yea, that's what I said, Nasus withered the human. Unfortunately, the original comment's grammar was bad and hints at the human seeing Nasus and not caring anymore. Whenever you use he or him, you are referring to the last man that you mentioned. The way the original comment structured their sentence was grammatically incorrect. Only by re-reading it differently, was I able to understand what he meant. "I like how Renekton chase him (human) to take that thing back, but when he (Grammar wise, this he still refers to the human) see Nasus that doesn't matter anymore" It should be: "I like how Renekton chased the man to take that thing back, but when Renekton saw Nasus, that didn't matter anymore." English is a hard language, and because that original commenter speaks multiple languages, they are smarter than I may ever be.

it's called 3D animation budd ! there's many people working on that, on different parts of that :) There's modeling / sculpting, Rigging, Texturing, Animation, Lighting and even more... there's the pre production, the production, the post production... if you'r interested in, look for 3D animation schools, but some tutorials cannot help you doing all of that :D

And he wouldn't have "faced" Nasus unless they changed something in his lore I"m pretty sure. I'm not quite sure why Nasus withered the human. The human looked like he was willingly giving him the artifact, just like he did to Azir. Plus Nasus came out of the portal that led to Azir anyways. It's just an odd choice they made Nasus wither or appear to wither the human when they are on the same side. Nasus should be just protecting him

I’m assuming Nasus wanted it to study, since he is a strategist and more like a bookworm than anything else. Renekton probably had it because either he stole it from somewhere in Azir’s area or one of his followers found/stole it. That’s what I’m assuming the the artifact had some impact on the flowing waters of SHURIMA which is quite interesting.

Shurima's lore has always been my favorite and Nasus' library was one of the many things that I wanted to see. Now that I've seen what seems to be just a fracture of that library, it's satisfying. I shed a tear. Riot's world building is beautiful.

Actually, it's helmet of the most elite Shuriman warriors, meaning he got recruited into them. I wouldn't be happy if I did all of this and then got recruited into army :D He could also get it as a souvenir.

@@picapes I'm preety sure he didn't got recriuted to them after he got the relic back, Azir just send his most elite warrior to retrive the relic back, and about the question why he didn't had helmet all the time, i guess riot didn't wanted to show to the ppl who he is from the begining, at least to ppl who are more intrested in lore that others

I've been dreaming of a renekton vs nasus animation since vi first came out! I remember seeing nasus in the rize cinematic and just screaming, freaking out, but renekton is even closer to my heart as he's my first champ.

@@Gothstana it's an experiencied ascended god of war that won inumerables battles throught the ages and has a blade with enourmous range against a target that got caught off guard, was completely open, was going in his direction at a stead speed and did not manage to defend himself from the blow in any shape or form. Yes, renekton would not miss so badly to the point of him being tossed by the hit without damage. Sometimes the answer is simply: the animator did not want him to die there.

THE ORDER IS GIVEN - THE ORDER IS TO INVOKE REVEALS Edit: Since this got a relatively large amount of likes, I'm going to quickly gush about lore for a second to raise hype since potentially a lot of people might see this. We are about to see Nasus like we've never seen him before. We can see in this trailer that they are trying to make Nasus more associated with the underworld. If this is going to bring an archetype that's all about the afterlife, that's super exciting. We have SI right now, land of the dead, but it would be interesting to have something that's more about people that are dead but have maintained their sentience and they're in the Runeterra equivilent of Hades. Not sure if that would break the lore, but if anyone could make it work it's the LoR team. All League of Legends players have LoR to thank for the great service this game does in expanding the Runeterra lore. Nerd talk over.

i think the egyptian underworld is called duat, which would make more sense since nasus is based off anubis, the jackal god. according to my admittedly faulty memory there was a scale that would judge your heart when you die against a feather. if you weren't holy enough then your heart would go down and anubis would eat it. to be fair most of my knowledge come from rick riordan.

shurima is just so cool. i love the egyptian myths/gods, tomb raider in particular and this is just right on the spot. i love that you evolve the lore, but by not playing runeterra its really hard to get to know the new characters. i'd love to see them involved in bios of champs, and being added to the rift
