Thank you for the farm update, love seeing all the precious animals. Pet loses, especially when you have to make that hard decision are so emotionally draining. This is a creature that 100% relies on you for health and happiness so that loss is unlike any other. Just to say that you are not alone in your feelings, and many of your viewers can understand what you are going through.

Living in the country is the best! On our “hobby” farm, we have cattle, sheep, a donkey, miniature pig, 9 dogs, bunnies, ducks, chickens, tortoise, frogs, indoor kitty, and outdoor cats.

Your goats are so sweet. All of your animals are so adorable and friendly. It is so nice. I used to have loads of frogs (mainly tree frogs) as a young girl and they are my favorite animal. It is cool your kids have them too.

Wow ! I love all the animals and your enjoyment of a simple life. As farm kids, my husband and I can so relate. Since we are both retired now, we have 4 ducks and one dog on 24 acres. Loved this vlog on the farm update. Anyone who has livestock or domestic farm animals knows there is death/loss on occasion, sometimes too regularly at times. When I was a kid animals weren’t humanised’ like they are these days, we loved and cared for them but as animals, not people. Really enjoyed seeing your property it is obvious how much you care for it. Thank you

Thanks! That was fun. First Doe to kid this year gave birth to triplets and ALL were butt breach🤦🏻‍♀️. The first born, a Doeling, is struggling. She’s in the house and being bottle fed (Mama rejected her right away). Bought 30 chicks from MM - within 3 days, 13 had passed. They sent replacements and now 4 have passed. Watching the post office off load them, it’s a miracle any of them live! Farm life has its ups and downs for sure.

We don't live on a farm, but we've tried to make sure our daughter knows about the circle of life. This was put to the test one day when our dog won a game of chase against a young squirrel who underestimated our dog's jumping skills. Our 4 year old was outside with me when it happened, and unfortunately, there was no way I could have stopped it. I tried to save the poor thing, but it passed away a couple of minutes after I collected it. I was worried my daughter would be really upset since she's quite the animal lover, but she just looked at me and said, "Mom, it's just what dogs do. That naughty squirrel was going to eat all the birdseed, so it had to happen." 😂 I swear she's got more sense than some adults.

I don’t find farm life boring at all. I love hearing about all the animals. Losses are hard. That’s the part I dislike about having animals. But one never goes without the other. So if that is a part of your life, it’s perfectly fine to share it (if you feel like it). Loved the update.
