Doki Doki Morning was indeed the first Babymetal song ever. It was recorded in late 2010, shortly before the first ever live Babymetal appearance at the Sakura Gakuin Festival 2010 at the Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama on November 28th 2010 (you can find that on KZfaq; just look up "Sakura Gakuin Festival 2010"). The song was released on the first Sakura Gakuin album "Sakura Gakuin Nendo: Message" in Apirl 2011. The music video for the song was filmed in late 2011 and released in April 2012. You should definitely check out the music video when you get a chance because you will get to see just how young they really were when they started. I was at Babymetal Returns, and the appearance of the three new girls came as a complete surprise. When they appeared, I thought it was a hologram effect or something, but then I realized that they were wearing different outfits, because their version had the red skirts as a callback to the classic red tutu days of a younger Babymetal. It was a clever trick that Koba played on us by having an "alternate universe" Babymetal from another world appear and perform opposite the original Babymetal. It sounds a bit confusing, but it makes sense within the convoluted logic of the premise of The Other One concept album. At the time , we had no idea who they were, but within a couple of hours after the show, fans had figured out who they were, because they were members of other Amuse projects and people recognized them. The lead vocalist is Miko Todaka (17), who has a very similar background to Su-metal, coming from Hiroshima, training at Actors School Hiroshima (ASH), being a member of Sakura Gakuin, and standing out at a young age as a powerhouse vocalist. Miko was considered the best singer to come out of SG since Su-metal herself. The other two girls are Sakia Kimura (15), who was a member of the final Sakura Gakuin class alongside Miko, and Kokona Kato (15) who is from Amuse Camp along with Sakia. Only later did we find out that this new group is called Metalverse, and these three, along with Miki Yagi (17) and Yume Nozaki (16) would be a sister group to Babymetal also managed by Kobametal. We recently learned however that Yume has left Amuse, and Miki will be focusing on her acting, so it appears that going forward, Metalverse will just be Miko, Sakia, and Kokona. They have done two solo live shows and one festival appearance so far, and they will be opening the show at FOX_FEST at the end of May. They have released two singles "Crazy J" and "Naked Princess" on their own youtube channel, so you can check them out if you want to. Metalverse also did an appearance during the performance of Karate at Babymetal Begins at PIA Arena MM in April 2023, so if you want to see more of them in action with Babymetal, you can check out that performance too.

Other times it is usually just holding high notes, not screaming. After a somber narration with Marvel style, the bubbly and playful intro of Doki Doki Morning that has stark contrast with the prior sinister message started. Then ... I could not understand what was going on when another set of seemingly pseudo-BABYMETAL appeared in duel position against authentic BABYMETAL 😱. I did not know who they were but came to know that they were amazing performers immediately after they started to sing and dance. What a surprising story Team BABYMETAL had produced to entertain the audience !! (After the show, fans promptly figured out who the mysterious girls were 😄 ) This song is about a school girl who overslept in the morning and got up quickly and dressed in haste asking repeatedly "what time is it now?. "Doki Doki" signifies sound of fast heartbeat. Su, Moa and Momoko are matured and no longer school girls, but they revived this song in 2021 shows at Budokan mimicking their own childhood voices and lovable moves. I loved it. But this 2023 version with 6 girls made my heartbeat 300 bpm Doki Doki 🤣 And the another set of girls called Metalverse is now having their own concerts since this.

This is Babymetal feat Metalverse. Both groups came from the Sakura Gakuin group. (Between 2010 and 2020, several girls aged between 10 and 15 passed).

The other 3 girls are metalverse, a version from another dimension and younger of babymetal. At this moment they are releasing their own musical material so you should keep an eye out.

One thing to keep in mind , in case you think it seems childish. When they first started performing this for audiences and started recording vocals , Moa and Yui were only 11 and Su was still 12. When they finished recording and filmed and released the music video Moa and Yui and were still 11 and Su had been 13 for a month or two. Songs like this , headbanger, Iijame Dame Zettai, Iine among others were recorded and released as part of the Sakura Gaquin "year end exams" and rereleased as part of the first Babymetal album after Su "graduated". The other girls were a spinoff promotion that morphed from Chibametal with three girls and became metalverse with 5. They just released their own song and video. First of all, this is the new Metalverse project with a new set of three girls here but they already debut on their own along with two more dancers at Summer Sonic Festival and later at Spotify O-East (so 5 in total) with their own show, you can also see three of them performing live at Budokan 2021 when they were even younger and wearing masks performing along with MoaMetal two Black Babymetal songs, there were four baby-foxes in total back then. They're: Miko Todaka (16), SuMetal's mirror, former SG alumni, she's from Hiroshima just like Suzuka and also she was at Actor School Hiroshima, she's super talented. Kokona Kato (14), she's part of Amuse Kids division and Ciao Girl's just like MoaMetal was before enter SG, she was pointed out to enter SG but sadly she couldn't because it was disbanded in 2021, she's very charismatic and she got 13 when doing this performance, her birthday is around the same date MoaMetal bday. Fans were really surprised with this when performing live, there was a lore intro but no one was ready just like you. They did several live shows and got some new songs, they also got official MV of two songs if you wanna check that out. A lot of fans (probably some more coming from SG, fukeis) were excited with this new project so these girls got already a fanbase willing to support, we'll see if more BM fans support this. Hi, first of all I'm glad to see that other people are discovering BabyMetal and realizing how amazing they are. I discovered them in 2018 and I'm disappointed I didn't listen to them before. Anyway, if I could give you a suggestion... it would be to do a reaction on "Shine", one of their songs I'll never be without.

I got to see MetalVerse's first ever debut performance in Summer Sonic 2023, followed by babymetal ending it off later in the day. They were amazing, and being able to see both groups live in one day was just mindblowing. Ill be going to summersonic again this year and im hoping babymetal goes back again this year, so far they've announced theyll be performing Leave it all behind in summer sonic: Bangkok with f hero and bodyslam. Hopefully they attend Japan's summersonic so i can get to see that song live alongside kingslayer maybe since bring me the horizon is attending too.

This is definitely my fav. Doki Doki version -I'm surprised more ppl don't react to it tbh. Great reaction. Lead of Metalverse has a very different but good voice too, and seems quite personable - they've done some stuff, but only the lead sings I think (other girls don't even look to have mics) and are maybe more toward the pop side of things.

👍 👍 At this concert the Babymetal spinoff group called Metalverse was introduced and performed alongside the ladies (mirrored on a stage across from them). They also performed Karate LIVE together at this concert. The lead singer Miko is a graduate of Sakura Gakuin as we're Suzuka, Moa and Momoko.

Their appearance all tied in with the lore of BABYMETAL finding parallel worlds and alternative realities with "other" BABYMETALs ... it turns out this is one of those "other" BABYMETALs and they are now a new group called METALVERSE producing their own new music and performing their own concerts and at festivals. Doki Doki is like a fast or excited heartbeat. The song is about a girl waking up late and rushing to get ready for an exciting day at school with all her friends. This was the first song they ever recorded - that was in October 2010 when Su was 12, Yui and Moa were both 11. The official video is worth seeing - that was recorded on a shoestring budget nearly a year later in 2011 - you will see just how tiny they were when they started.

If you're listening to a song from the first or second album, I strongly suggest you to watch live videos from 2017-18 or older. Third and fourth album, watch 2019 and sooner.

Well Metalverse was first established as a younger Babymetal and they tried to hold thevgroups separaten, but after Babymetal demonstrated withbtheirvWorld Tour and two World Class Collabs that they are in the time of their lives, they are no longer mentioned in the same sentence. Then they tried to establish Metakverse as a five person group, but now they are down to three like Babymetal and in May they will be intermingled with another Band of Amuse. It currently is starting to look like a car crash.
