@TaniaBWells I purchased Studio and Social, one warm and one cool to use as base lid color. I love them both. After being on the shelf in my local Sephora for only 2 days, the warm brown and green were sold out. I will try again. I hope Merit expands the color range. I used a Tom Ford topper in a light tone for highlight my inner eye...it lasted until I took them off that night. Thanks again

I LOVE the minimalist look in makeup. These eyeshadows are beautiful and look really easy to use. I’m going to have to try them! And I appreciate the matte look as well. I’m 54 and tend to avoid the whole shimmer thing. Beautiful eye looks you created with these!

The medium brown shade reminds me of the new Chantecaille matte shade which I really wanted but resisted because it felt hard to pay that much for 1 shadow.....maybe I can get this one instead! I've always been afraid of a purple shadow but it really looks lovely on brown eyes......

Just something to ponder upon...... From my experience working at the cosmetic, demonstrating products to customers on my hands versus applying the same products on my own face (at my own time), this is what I concluded with my observation and analysis..... 'Long wearing' makeup such as eyeliner, lips, eyeshadow, etc stay on SO well on the back of our hands, yet they tend to run on some people's eyes/face, etc is because there is no natural oil produced on the back of our hands. Whereas with my oily skin/eyelids, products don't stay as well. Hence, we cannot 'prove' the 'longwearing' feature by trying on the back of our hands. 😉

They looks amazing fore us with texture and hodded eye lids, and if you wants to juse something that isent too much fore work, you can always put some shiny in the center of the lid after work to jaze it up.... 😁👍 I'm getting them all they look stunning and that they don't crease on the lid is just what I need. I just got the mid century. Even tho I have alot of browns I find the cream shadows apply easier and faster. It was the Patrick ta cream shadow in his major dimension that made me realize how much I love them. It’s the only thing I like from that palette that works so well with the toppers. Otherwise, it reminded me too much of ND bronze palette without it and I would have returned it

@@UnamusedBoucheI received the mid century (I think that’s what it is called) and it’s nice enough for me not to return it but I find it’s nowhere near as creamy as Patrick ta. Its very hard to blend if u don’t work with it right away. Not sure how I feel about that yet

I hope they wril make a cool tone dusty pink and mabey some suddel satin shimmers ( but not metallic or glitter shimmers, chunky shimmers, flacky shimmers ) it doesn't look good on meture eyelids.

Don't get me wrong, Givenchy, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, Lancome, Armani, Gucci, Hermes they all have great products at lower price, and wider selection here, and ofc skincare we have good stuff from France (that I prefer, Barcelona has huge chemical industry too) at great pricepoint, and like and we widely have since forever Estee Lauder distributors, Clinique ans Shiseido I do remember since forever, so La Mer, etc. And ofc L'Oreal (Paris). But a lot of companies like this, we don't. Houglass is shipping, thouh. I hav read on my eyeliner that is made in Korea so probably brands that are outsourcing worldwide are more.. you know available worldwide.. this goes for the skincare too. Like I told we have just got WA on niche beauty and cult beauty, still no ND new palette (the brand we have she is from Croatia a nd Germany even id she moved to Israel she was on the market always, but retailers no, we have to wait for a few weeks new stuff) on both CB or Sephora, only on her page we can buy from release,...then.. Makeup by Mario is shipping but it is too expensive with the taxes and shipping costs. Ofc that all those distributors are interested, but Sephora I just don't get, we have like Milk, Rare Beauty , Melt consmetics, and then other brands we don't or we have nit that good selection (And I have read in Canada too). Weird. TF like I sad, basically the perfumes. Some German pages that are like Nordstrom and have cloths abd cosmetics and ship through the Europe they have for instance that Shade and Iluminating but only for Germany I am in Spain and can't get it here, also goes for Italy have family there, the same thing. I just descovered one UK page, that is kinda Sephora or somesort of something under Sephora like Douglas is, but I sometimes get from UK without problems, and sometimes due to Brexit and their lack of stuff and service the are so so late, or not ever, like sometimes from China, like that cystal retinal from medik8 I am so mad, they don't even answer what is going on and I am now waiting 3 weeks, no shipping confirmation.

Your eyes look beautiful. Before I saw you video, I purchased Merit's studio eyeshadow which is described as a taupe and when watching other You Tube people, it looked like a good color for me. Unfortunately I am returing it because it was looked peach on me. I am keeping the color Brun which is a dark brown.

@@TaniaBWells No, they don't have a lot of things in Sephora for the USA, some superfamous like MILK, Rare beauty, Hourglass, Melt cosmetics but not this one. Well, at least in Spain. We don't even have new ND palette, we have to wait at least few weeks or so to come to Sephora or Cult beauty. Both niche beauty and Cult beauty have better selection of USA brands (and well, Australian, and well from Corea too, as well as skincare products). And Tom Ford that is impossible to find. Bzt we do have Givenchy, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, all of those, L'Oreal also we have better selection but yeah.

I've heard some complain that their shadows have dried out. Has that happened to you or do you think that that might have happened to them because the lid on the container wasn't actually closed tight?

Hm.. So far none of mine have dried out. You do have to click the cap on and it’s a really tight fit. I think they did that on purpose, so no air gets in there.

I love the colors of these shadows and still learning to use them properly for my own eyes. My only issue with them is that while they dry down, they don't quite dry down, and remain just tacky enough so that my eyelid sticks to my eye hood (rather like eyeshadow sticks). Does this happen to anybody else out there? If you have a solution, please share it with me. Many thanks!

Can you pls compare these to danessa myricks palette she recently came out with all the nudes? Is it close to DM’s creamy ones? Are some of the colors close? I’m thinking of getting DM instead for the price point you get more colors unless you think these are worth the extra $$$ for each pod

Honestly I swatched the DM ones on store and chose to skip on the palette. Not because it looked bad it just was not something I was interested in. I know there are lots of reviews out there and they seem to love the formula of the cream shadows from DM.

I love Merit but these remind me of the matte attempt from Charlotte Tilbury which flopped. Even though all reviews so far are on the positive side I see the application is a bit patchy and the idea of me having to be quick because something will dy down to that extent freaks me out. It even looks patchy in your video. Hope they can come up with something creamier for people like me who like more of a natural look and not this dry, matte one.

I honestly think these are extremely creamy, and nothing like the Charlotte Tilbury ones. Those were so crumbly and dry. I have been using them for maybe three weeks now and I’ve never had an issue with them.

Oh no. I just looked at it and compared it to the other ones and on my phone and laptop and it seems to be the same brightness. I wonder if someone else has that issue..:/

Just read the comment again. 😊 Do you compare the videos to other content creators or my older videos? I try to keep the light as natural as possible to show the true color and texture of the skin. If I make it brighter it will wash off the colors and won’t represent it well. Would love to hear thoughts on this from everybody!

Your lighting is fine. Others have it really bright where the colors are washed out. But you have it in the middle.
