I’ve been using FitBit products for 4 years now, and I love them. I think the biggest thing people should understand is that, while it is a smart watch, it is a fitness specific watch. If you are looking for all of the entertainment or communication bells and whistles, it’s not for you. I don’t necessarily like when people compare it to the Apple Watch because they are honestly meant for different users. I currently have the ionic and have made a deal with myself to get the Sense if I meet a weight goal I set. Great review!

I totally agree. I don't have an apple phone so why would I want an apple watch. I dint have a Samsung phone so don't really want a galaxy watch. I dont see the point of comparing fitbit with apple. Compare it with another fitness tracker and I'm yet to see any that meet what fitbit can do.

Exactly well said It’s annoying seeing people say “I’m confused on which to get Apple Watch or Fitbit” its like first off why you even confused between the two and why are you even comparing them do you need a fitness tracker with smart watch features or do you need a smart watch with fitness features now I know they sound like the exact same thing but are two totally different watches

Had the same experience with heart rate sensor, when I do the weight lifting it shows around 100-105 where my old Apple Watch shows more accurate measurements.

I just received my Sense, but haven’t taken it out of the box yet. I’ve been using a Versa. The Sense looks a lot larger than the Versa; the circumference of my wrist is only 6 inches, so this might not be a comfortable fit. We’ll see. I bought the Sense because I need motivation for exercise, since I’m still sheltering in place (I’m 72 with underlying conditions), and just walk around the house and up and down the stairs many times. I haven’t been able to get 10,000 steps yet, which I always scored when walking outside. One big reason for purchasing the Sense is that I want to keep an eye on my heart, which does weird things sometimes. I also want to be able to keep an eye on my temperature. I decided on the Sense because of these features. But you seem to be saying that the heart tracker isn’t that great? Am I right? Is Versa better? Did I make a mistake? Your video was great. Thanks! I really enjoyed your review of the Sense. What makes you think that answering the calls remotely could be just a software update in the future? I currently have a Ionic and have had it for 3 years. I was waiting for an upgrade so I could answer calls from my Fitbit but I have an Iphone and I guess that's not an option yet.

I am a long time fitbit user but have decided to try garmin. I am currently wearing the venu sq side by side the versa 2. I do notice the steps and hr do differ. I noticed in ur review u mention garmin hr is more reliable. Have u ever tested the steps and hr of a garmin to a known accurate device? Maybe a chest strap? I am curious who is more accurate fitbit or garmin

I'm curious about the music. Like you know how when you're cycling and running right, is it possible to listen to music without the phone and what kind of earpiece do you where to it? It would be cool if I leave my phone at home and just wear this watch when I do these stuffs..

Hi when you say there were some inaccuracies with heart rate readings. What I would like to know is in your testing how snug was the back of the watch to your skin on your wrist? Any looseness will cause misreadings. When mines tight enough to my wrist the heart tracking readings are accurate.Please clarify

The moment you said it tracks sleep to wake you up at the end of your sleep cycle, I confirmed the purchase order. Thanks man, I am NOT a fan of wearables because they ad too much information inundation (and we're all inundated enough) but something that helps with sleep would be very useful to anyone these days

Thx 👍 🙂 Would be more interesting to compare heart rate monitoring to a heart monitoring belt . Now we are just guessing which watch is right. Belts are the Gold Standards. Is the HRV measuring aviable without paying Fitbit Premium ?

+1 to this comment. Comparing a watch to a watch seems silly. A chest band truly would be a good comparison/check for missed or errors in heart rate, as it's on the chest above the heart vs on the wrist 3ft away.

good walkthrough, lots of us like staying within our ecosystem. while the cost seems rather high, i'm interested in the sleep aspect of it. and i like many others HATE having to charge our smart devices within 24 hours or 48 hours. let alone wear at night for bed.

nice review... I mainly wanted to check the refresh rate of them because I was testing them myself and as a apple watch user I found out that the refresh rate of the display isnt that good as on apple watch... great watch when bought at sale but I am not so sure at the full price...

I was looking at the Versa 3, but I've seen a lot of negative reviews... are they justified? Also is it true that notifications dont come through to the watch if your phone is on silent? Thats a feature I love about the Galaxy Fit.

No it's not there is an override on the settings. Mine works fine and I have my phone on silent 99% of the time

I had the Fitbit Versa loved it but wanted more so I got a Samsung Active 2 it egc update came out last month I think. It's been a great watch, but I love the look of this watch and the temperature has me intrigue. I might just have to put it on my Christmas list.

No - Fitbit have removed the local storage of music function from both the Versa 3 and the Sense devices.

I like the aesthetic of the Gen 5 better, but it is no comparison if you care about fitness. Not to add a third variable, but have you considered the TicWatch Pro 3 I reviewed last week? Decent battery life, aesthetics, and fitness tracking

Great video: Question i mainly want to know when I'm at the gym when I do cardio and weight training will it be able to tell my total calories burned in my 1.5 to 2 hour gym session? Switching to an Samsung Galaxy 10s from iPhone 11 as one family member needs to get out of the plan earlier and offer for him to pay off the iPhone is it is less expensive I am now in search of a watch replacement. I might get series 6 and set it up with son iPhone 11 so I can still get the most accurate watch in the industry if I can not find android compatible watch to match its heart rate.

Even in the States, Fitbit Pay is not widespread. Lots of credit cards are not accepted on Fitbit pay. If that is important for you, I highly recommend you check compatibility for your cards and your country

Not him but no. The hardware for the Vivo is much more advanced and more expensive. But you lose great app features. But accuracy Garmin wins out. Otherwise this Sense would be 3xs this

I had the Galaxy Watch Active 2 since 9/2019. Come to find out last month I cannot use the ECG feature because my Pixel phone is not compatible since you need a Galaxy phone. I got the Sense to replace my Watch Active 2.

I have the sense, so far I'm loving it. I had the fitbit ionic a while ago and from what I remember the heart rate accuracy improved over time. It was almost as if the watch was getting used to my workouts. Don't know if that's possible but it did improve. I'm hoping that the sense will improve too. It's so comfortable and it really is the fitbit I personally was waiting for! With the upcoming addition of ecg and phone calls it will be a great fitness smartwatch in my view.
