Food related tip. If possible, use the app to order your food. We saved about 30 minutes at Today Cafe by placing the order ahead of time. And we saved (easily) over an hour over in the Simpsons area when we ordered via app avoiding the line out the door. Ordered and 5 min later picked up the food at the mobile order counter. We couldn't believe how many people were on that food court line and DID NOT use the app.

The mobile ordering is a great way to save some time! We love to use it if we think ahead enough lol. We had a team member tell us at thunder falls that it would save 30+ minutes that day!

@@ThePughTwo That was the beauty when my daughter wanted fish and chips over in Simpsons. We saw a line that was likely an hour long and I was about to tell her to think of something else she wanted when I thought to use the app and see how long the wait was. I put her order in and immediately clicked the "I'm here" button. We waited maybe 5 minutes. Which is why I can't believe people in that long line didn't bother to check that option. I've done the same at Chipotle here in NYC if the line is crazy LOL

Someone else said that! It was so new they didn't even have it on their menu inside yet, so we didn't realize it was a cauliflower crust. Makes sense now!!

Hello again. Yall have revealed to me so many more food options that my daughter and I were not aware of when we were there in June. I definitely need to try that pork carnita crepe. I'm not a big crepe fan, but that savory pork carnita crepe, I would definitely try. Thankd again yall.

@@ThePughTwo I certainly will let yall know. Last October, my daughter and I got a crepe from that crepe place near ratatouille in Epcot. I got the chocolate one. I love chocolate but that just wasn't good. Not being terribly up and crepes, I felt it wasn't fully cooked as I thought it should have been. It seemed too doughy. But I didn't know. I actually just remembered as I typed this. Back in the 80s my wife and I ate at a seafood restaurant in Panama City Beach. The restaurant burned down and isn't there any longer. But I remember I had some seafood crepes and they were really good. So maybe I should reiterate, the crepe I had at Epcot wasn't good and that gave me a less than favorable opinion about crepes. But I will try the pork carnita on our next trip to Universal. Hopefully yall will be there and maybe we will run up on yall and say hello.

I would love to try that vegan berry crepe (especially if they have the coconut whipped cream). Florida weather is so weird! My husband and I were just talking about the fact that they have “the sunshine state” motto, but the weather constantly changes..

What’s the best way to find Central Park crepes, any markers it’s next to? every time I’ve been to the parks, I seem to miss it!

It's right there in the road where the floats come out of the gaits between cafe la bamba and the horror make-up show entrance. It kind of makes a square with those two buildings and Mel's. We hate that it's not on the map, but it's the little green hut on the left before you head down the shaded pathway to Simpson's. I hope this helps! lol

I get all HP/WW food obsessed. Maybe if I went more frequently I'd expand to the UOAP Food options. Was there in September disappointed by Mythos and Lombards. Cowfish & Toothsomes were delicious.

We love eating in those areas too! We really don't visit the sit down restaurants very often because we're usually pressed for time, but we're surprised you had bad experiences at those two! The citywalk restaurants are pretty reliable, though!

The line for the crepes may not look long but it took us an hour recently. FYI. Don’t know if you don’t want to be critical but how long did you wait?

I think it took us about 30 minutes! They're made to order, so they can check people out quicker than they can get them made. We wish Universal would hire a few more team members to help out over there!

The watermelon pizza/flatbread crust was cauliflower, not regular pizza crust. Wonder if that affects the texture?

Oh no, that's upsetting! The pastries that sit out can definitely be hit or miss. We always go for "made to order" when possible!

Universal food is wonderful, but… they do a disservice to the south with their biscuits. I’ve never had a good one on property.

Most of the UPOA items aren’t gluten free. I wish they had a good variety but only one can hope and then go get some green eggs and ham! 😂

Lol it does seem like they have more vegan/vegetarian options than GF. Green eggs & ham is a good one to be able to eat, though!
