Updated with all the latest info including the ability to modify Lightning Lanes, this video will teach you pretty much EVERYTHING we have learned about Disney Genie Plus in the last year. There are actually way more than 27 tips in this video, but since everyone knows it as the 27 tips video, we're sticking with it. 😂
These little tidbits of knowledge will help make your next trip to Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and/or Animal Kingdom your best trip ever.
This is essentially our "Disney Genie Plus for Dummies" video - except it's way more fun than a "for Dummies" book and - most importantly - we don't think you're a dummy. The fact that you are figuring all this stuff out before your Disney World trip makes you pretty darned smart, actually!

I love you Ear Scouts!!!! I watched ALL your videos and practiced and prepped before my trip. I was ready. Because of you, we rode everything that we wanted. Because of you, I managed to park hop to Epcot and snag lightening lanes for Frozen (at 2pm for 5:45pm), Test Track (at 4pm for 6:30pm) and Remi (at 6:15pm for 8pm!) ALL of those rides were sold out LL but with some genie slot magic…. I nabbed them all in the same afternoon. I truly could not believe it. Disney was FUN not standing in any lines!! I owe it all to your amazing instruction!!! I would not have managed with my ADHD son who struggles to wait for anything. You are my hero! 🎉

Just got back from Disney World Mardi Gras week! Crazy crowded! We went to all 4 parks and rode everything on our list! Average wait times 2-3 hours for some rides. We stood in lines average of 10 minutes!!! Thank you Rob for teaching us how to use Genie Plus!!! You are our hero!!! Well worth the extra cost for lightning lanes to eliminate those long wait times!!!

These Orlando videos are the best on youtube by far. Love the way the ride videos are short so you don't have to skip much of the videos to avoid ride spoilers. Love the slow n calm explanations with on screen app videos with highlighted colours and arrows to make things easier. The tactics with popular first bookings and current upto date info on park rides are unreal! You truly are the Disney Genie with helping to get the most out of everyday. Big thanks Rob! ❤ Your videos were really really helpful for me to come with a strategy to ride EVERY SINGLE RIDE in all 4 parks with 3 young kiddos. Bought G+ and ILL and also re-rode main attractions on stand by later in the day with 5-10min waiting time in each park. Changing my top picks was winner! When in Epcot, I got a LL for Remys first, then Frozen, and by the time I wanted to book Test Track it was sold out. Around 4pm, Test Track was still sold out and The kids wanted to spend some time in the playground, so I just sat, relaxed and played those genie slots for 2min and got and AMAZING return time for 4:20pm. Also the modify option was a winner, i pushed soaring at least 3 times so we could prioritize other rides! Keep going with your amazing videos! I’m a fan 🎉❤

This video was by far the most helpful video I watched in preparation for our trip to WDW. I can't thank you enough for sharing how to play the "Disney Genie Slots" - this was a game changer and allowed us to pretty much walk from ride to ride, always using a LL. I was a little skeptical at first, but early on my first day I was able to move up a LL reservation by a few hours, and the rest is history! THANK YOU!

I am not one to comment on videos but your advice and tips are AMAZING! I followed them yesterday at Magic Kingdom! (Park was sold out and Spring Break) We rode everything we wanted plus some because of the genie slots! These were the 2 big ones that I couldn’t believe happened!! We had Big thunder mountain at 4:10pm and I played the genie slots for about 3 minutes and was able to modify to 2:15!! Incredible! I forgot to get space mountain early so when I remembered, the return time was for 10pm but I grabbed it and then I played the genie slots again while in a line for about 5 minutes and OMG we were able to modify it to 6:55! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I love your videos.

Rob, until watching your videos, the anxiety was REAL about my "last minute aka under 40 days" weekend trip to Disney. I couldn't imagine how I was going to get everything I wanted done in 3 of the parks in just 2 days... but then I found you! Really embracing the Genie slots idea and invoking the 15 min rule helped my husband and I enjoy our entire trip. We rode every ride we wanted and then some. Rob, thank you so much for this incredible content. I absolutely love how you compare refreshing the lighting lane to slot machines. I remember during the fast pass days (RIP) doing this exact method, and it was so incredibly fun. My husband and I like to go to Disney World together even though I’m going solo in a couple weeks, but we really always enjoyed refreshing to see what great times we could get with fast pass. I know Genie isn’t exactly the same, but I love that it’s still similar in the sense that it can be a little game, especially while you’re waiting. Again, thank you so much for teaching us how to use it. I was a little nervous since I haven’t been since it was implemented, but now I’m ultra excited to play the game while I’m at the parks! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! You made our trip to Disney absolutely phenomenal!!! It felt like only a very small percentage of people understand the Genie + process. Thanks to Ear Scouts I felt like an expert!! We played those “Genie Slots” and waited for only ONE ride (we didn’t have a Lightening Lane for Seven Dwarfs). Thanks to Ear Scouts we rode Seven Dwafs early in the day before the wait time was 2 hours plus. I really can’t thank you enough for your videos and for answering my questions! You were indeed a blessing to me & my family! Extreme wait times can totally ruin your experience at the parks, but thanks to you we had a FANTASTIC time!! I felt like Anna from Frozen - THIS IS AMAZING!!! $20/person for Genie + is soooo worth it to avoid those lines. It’s wayyy cheaper than the $100+ that Universal charges. I think most people avoid Genie + because they don’t understand it, but thanks to Ear Scouts I was thoroughly prepared and enjoyed playing the “Genie Slots” and avoiding the lines! Thank you a million times over!!!!

This is the best explanation/entertaining video of Genie plus I have came across! I’m an old hat when it comes to Disney, however I have been too lazy to try and understand Genie plus thanks for putting in the work I was too lazy to do!

Hi Rob… Merry Christmas… we were in magic kingdom Dec. 24 and 25. We used all your tips and tricks with genie plus and were incredibly successful. We never waited for anything!!! I thought for sure we would have some wait times because we were there for Christmas, but we either walked right on or had 5-7 min waits. It was awesome!!! We did it all!! This video was the make or break video for our trip. We did all four parks doing a park a day and the tips and tricks from this video helped us ride everything that we wanted without having to wait in lines all day. I even won the Disney Slots as you call them by scoring a lightning lane opening for Avatar: Flight of Passage for 15 minutes from when it showed up on the tip board. It really did feel like winning the lottery haha. I don’t know when our next Disney trip will be, but I’ll stay subscribed because your content is so informative, you have a great vibe in all of your videos, and it reminds me of the amazing vacation we had thanks to your help! ☺️

Just wanted to thank you. We were at the parks last week and your tutorials made Genie+ a breeze. We rope dropped all 4 parks and with Genie+, got on every ride we wanted. Some rides multiple times (standby + Genie+).

I've to thank you and your Channel! Our family of 9 were at Disney this february and it was amazing. We did all genies+ and worth it, we could get almost all the rides using It in every park! We're able even to antecipate some hours in genie plus with our big group! We did the early entry and so we didn't have to buy the exclusive lighling Lane, just as you teach us.

Hi Rob! ❤ your channel. Just got back from Disney, had a wonderful time with my family thanks to your tips. Disney genie + was $35/person ( spring break and a holiday weekend combined) :) We did experience the Disney Gremlin, while modifying a lighten lane for a earlier return time. I lost my initial 1pm booking and received a 3pm booking instead. this happed 1 other time, I lost my initial time when modifying. I figured I wasn't fast enough at confirming.😀

Hi Rob! I was so happy that I was able to thank you in person when I saw you in the line for the D23 Tron event. I wanted to let you know that my family had the best time at Disney and played those Genie Slots like pros! Your videos were key to us having the best experience and being able to fit everything in that we wanted to do and more. The phrase of the week was, "Rob says..." or "Rob likes...." I often found myself surrounded by people who were frustrated with the app and thought it was a waste of money, and I would tell them to go watch this video. Thank you again for all that you do to make reluctant Disney vacationers, like me, wanting to go back for more! :)

Thank you so much for this video, You got a new subscriber! I have one day to spend in the parks next month before I join the Disney Fantasy and this has been such a help! UPDATE: I visited WDW on 04/22/2023, began the day at Boardwalk with Al Forno Eggs and Iced Coffee, did every ride in Epcot and Hollywood Studios (Some standby, 16 Genie+ Lightning Lanes , Cosmic Rewind Virtual Queue and an individual Lightning Lane for ROTR). The only wait I had was the 20 minutes Cosmic rewind line and I still had time to watch Fantasmic and enjoy the atmosphere. THANK YOU!
