Today’s video is GROCERY HAUL + FRIDGE RESTOCK & PANTRY ORGANIZATION. I’m going to show you everything that we got with this GROCERY SHOPPING HAUL from WALMART & SAM’S CLUB and how I put them away.

We are a family of 3 and we do our Monthly Grocery Shopping from Walmart & Sams Club.
I don’t buy a lot of fruits & veggies with this Monthly Hauls because i like to get those fresh once a week from my local store. I think most of you that are watching my past videos already knows that but incase you’re new here.. I thought I’d mention it.

I love watching your organization videos 😊 they are truly the best. Your idea of using the plastic bins in the freezer is super helpful. I use that idea myself but instead of use a cardboard box.

I just love organized things!! I look at my pantry all the time now that I organized it....its so relaxing😂 my husband thinks I'm weird because I find our pantry relaxing. I go to costco, kroger and Aldi's. Kroger is just when they are having a good sale and alot of times I'll stop there every week for the sale stuff. Costco is usually every 2 months and the rest is aldi. I enjoy browsing the grocery store....but with having to work I dont have a lot of time for that. I love the extra large clear bins.....the things I could store in there❤

Hey Colleen!🙋🏻‍♀️ Haha! I get what you’re saying.. 😉 Every time I organized a space in my home I would do the same! For example our linen closet.. it’s been a mess for a long time now that I organized it.. i find myself opening it just to look inside cause it makes my ❤️ happy and puts a smile on my face.. my husband thinks I’m weird too!😂 he don’t get it!😂 I tend to do that when i make a big change or when the results are night and day! 😁

I’m the U.K. and have just started watching your videos. I have just this afternoon organised my chest freezer with baskets and it’s SO much better!! It’s not as common for us to have huge fridges over here but I would love space in my kitchen for an American fridge freezer as I also love stocking up and doing a big shop once a month, it’s just not possible with my tiny fridge 😠😭🤣

This question comes to mind with every freezer restock video but by the time I get to the end, I have forgotten to ask. You look like a very petite lady. Yet you seem to have no issues reaching the items in the bottom of your freezer. I am only 5 feet tall and for that reason we only buy upright freezers. I have to have a front load clothes washer too. Cannot reach the bottom and even on tip toe it really hurts my tummy and side. What is your secret😄. Great video as always!!

Hi Glenda, Lol yes I am only 5’2 😁 I don’t have issues reaching the bottom of our chest freezer since it’s not that high for me plus having the bins in there helps but with our washer.. that’s where I struggle a bit sometimes, I almost fall in a few times because of how deep it is.. sometimes I would use tongs(utensil) to pick up anything I couldn’t reach!😂 my husband makes fun of me when he sees me! But I do like our washer because it is so big and convenient for washing comforters/beddings! 🤷🏻‍♀️ we never really considered getting front loader because a few times we found the ones we like.. the doors don’t work for our laundry room and the one’s we like have no adjustable door. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Great video Selle! I’ve heard that if you keep ripe bananas with the yellow bananas it will make them ripen faster. I love the deep organization bins!! I need them in my pantry! Thank you! We shop once a week usually I shop at a couple different places to get items on sale and we go to sams club every 3 months or so it’s a little bit of a drive for us. 😊

I’ve heard about that too but I was going to make banana bread the next day so it didn’t matter to me mixing them for a day plus Sams Club bananas are usually a bit too green to eat the same day you buy it so it kinda help ripen those too!😬 thanks for the tip though!😉 Am I the only one not getting any sale here? 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 I go to Smith’s weekly for fresh fruits & veggies and I rarely ever see them have sale.. I only go there cause it’s the closest to my house and their produce are better than Walmart!🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Selle. Your system obviously works for your family. I can tell you have it down to a science what you need to replenish. Sometimes, I get carried away and buy new things, which I often end up wasting. 😞 I shop every week for fresh items at Safeway. For the big items, I shop at Costco or Walmart. Have a great week.

Hi hun, It took me a long time to actually got it! I’m like you back then, I keep buying and sometimes end up wasting it but once I organize our freezer and start categorizing each fridge that we have to be able to actually see everything and how much we have.. it helped! Like with our fresh fruits and veggies, I used to buy them bulk in advance and end up wasting a lot of them so I decided to just buy a little bit once a week and we end up saving money that way and avoid wasting food! Sometimes we also try to finish up what’s in our freezer before we shop again to make sure we’re using everything that we have first! And start new! My number one tip is.. to never shop hungry! You’ll end up shopping with your eyes! 2nd, make sure you always have a list before you go grocery shopping.. check everything that you have first at home then make a list of what you want to add or replace and try to stick with that list! You might want to try new things from time to time and that’s ok! 😉 I hope some of this helps!😬

New to the channel. Do you meal plan? Just curious on how you know what to buy for the month. I'm a family of 6 and I feel like we're always running out of things and I always going to the store to buy stuff which makes my grocery bill way more then what I budget for.

Hello, Thanks for being here!🙋🏻‍♀️ I cooked a couple recipes in one day to last us for the whole week, I guess that’s my own version of meal planning! 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I don’t meal plan ahead, we just buy what we need or like to eat and then I make something with what we have in the fridge and freezer! We do our big grocery shopping once a month or every 6 weeks then I only go back to the store for fruits, veggies or any ingredients we might need for a recipe once a week or once every 2 weeks! I will try my best to give you better answer for this in my upcoming fridge restocking since it is kinda hard to explain it in writing! 😉

How often do you grocery shop? How long does it take to eat it all?

We do our big grocery haul once every 4 weeks or 6 weeks! For perishable items such as fruits & veggies or ingredients we might need to make a recipe, I go to the store once a week! Some foods are gone in a few weeks or so and some stays for months such as frozen items so there’s really no exact time how long it takes us to finish all since we don’t really wait until everything is empty before we shop again! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! We use about a gallon a week! Coffee, pancake etc. this specific brand of milk (Lactaid) have long shelf life 2-3 months so No! They don’t expire before we use them!😊

Because we like food!.😊 Do I have to have 10 kids to keep a lot of food in our home? Is that a new requirement I haven’t heard about? Growing up with 7sisters, we never have food stock in our home cause my mom can’t afford to buy them so keeping a lot of food in our home gives me comfort that my family will never get hungry like I did as a child! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t understand the need to take eggs out of an 18 slot carton and put them into another 18 slot carton. Too much plastic and a waste of time to transfer all that stuff.

We usually get the 60 pcs eggs that came with the big carton box (which takes too much space in the fridge!) that’s why I transfer them to this acrylic egg container but with this specific haul, there are only 18 count eggs available at the store so it’s what we got! Plus it looks good & clean in the fridge having them! I get that it’s not for everyone but I like how organized our fridge looks so I make time for it! 😉
