People are upset cause they were misled. So many content creators and Hoyoverse themselves kept advertising it as a combat focused game with cool mechanics and some difficulty. So when we finally get the public release and most of the gameplay is TVs and hub wandering, and the little combat that is there is so easy you can just mash basic and parry/dodge when the game gives you very obvious cues to the people will not be happy.

@@Kyle_116your saying there's "little combat" which is the opposite from my experience. So far, the game is exactly as it was advertised. Seems like people are just hating just to hate... the same exact thing happened with Wuthering waves and honkai star rail. Hell, the same thing happened to genshin impact when it first came out as well.

@@landonkennedy6959 What baffles me is that it's not even open-world. I get Wuwa vs Genshin but Wuwa vs Zzz or Genshin vs Zzz?? Really?? I'd be more inclined to side with them if they said pgr (which i like to be honest), but them constantly yapping about wuwa like it's the only game kuro has made. ffs i could see your bias right behind the screen.

I always thought "if you don't like it why do you keep talking about it?" I get not liking the mechanic cause the game works on a whole different gender (even if it's a gacha) but damn! It's like people forgot how to have fun

Not Alicia hitting R2 durring the comic cutscenes and unknowingly skipping all the dialog just like I did. 😂 They really need to put better button prompts on screen for those scenes. "X" continues the dialog, "R2" skips ahead to the next panel.

@RavenL1337 fortunately, it was just early one and she seems to have figured it out within a few cutscenes. This video definitely has a bunch of stuff edited out and she stopped skipping by the end

Ah man, I wish there was a VOD channel or something (At least for game vids), as much as i like seeing your option on these games i just cant watch vids that cut out too much of the story/reactions. Its the main reason i seek these out, nothing hurts me more than looking forward to seeing a reaction to a specific part/line only to find out when the time comes that it got cut :(

@@marky4627 It's not the fault of consoles, the game only shows L2 and R2 as buttons and doesn't tell you that you can also press X for more story Is a bad design or a design error by Hoyo At the beginning I only pressed R2 (because, as I said, you are not told about the X button), but I thought that the skips from side to side are relatively large then I noticed the X button when I was trying it out

I haven’t had the opportunity to play as much of this game as I’d like because the last week of my life has been busy, but from what I have been able to play, I just love the aesthetic of this game. It’s so cool. I’m old enough to be a child of the ‘80s, and it’s just hitting those vibes. And I love Anbi - she has Ram from Re:Zero vibes.

Im happy enough that I managed to pull the character I wanted (Nekomata) within the 1st chapter, but still really wanted her to be one of the story unlock characters, no idea if she is within the 1st 2 chapters. Im still bitter at Genshin for taking away Xinyan's story campaign unlock. Cuz frankly i do enjoy genshin's openworld action rpg gameplay to this more dungeoncrawl hack&slash, but not being able to get the character I want within 20 hours of gameplay really burnt me out of getting back into genshin at all

@@Hunterofyeets Uh, source??? If you mean whether it's within the Honkai universe (alongside Genshin/HSR/HI3), it could be, but there isn't much evidence in the game to suggest that yet (though the new lore teaser does have some familiar faces but we'll just have to wait and see)
