I believe Book 2: Ghost is about Tariq becoming the man his father was and that doesn't involve James coming back in the physical to save his son... James (Ghost) story is finished like Kanan and just as Kanan we about to get a look into young James' life in Power Origin. We only got Tommy and Tariq carrying on the legacy of Kanan and James. My biggest question is what will they do with Tariq character - do they begin another book with a time jump or does he gets killed or end up in prison??? Tariq will survive but Diana will die pregnant. One of the synopsis for the episodes was “the tejadas and tariq try to avenge what they’ve lost from the tragedy” or something along those lines. It would only be a tragedy if Diana AND the baby both died and that’s the only reason tariq would team up with the tejadas at this point! Power killed holly when pregnant so it very well could happen again!

I think Tariq will end up like Franklin on snowfall season 6 or he will get locked up. Also I think Monae will get Cane locked up to save what’s left of their family. I think this entire time of ghost book 2 is a lesson from ghost to Tariq that the lifestyle he’s living isn’t worth it and that Tariq isn’t smarter than ghost. As you can see life for Riq and Tasha has been harder for them without ghost. Had they just listened to him, life would be great for them. Then Diana and Dru goes on the run in epsiode 4 "The reckoning" where Tariq and Monet go on the hunt.. Then epsiode 5 "Ego Death" she gonna try to forgive and harder to keep the family together, but Carter gonna blow that up. Episode 7 -9 is nuts because of a tragedy..Tariq and Monet are gonna go hard together. There are only 9 episodes this final season.
