Honestly devito showed a lot from his few games he played in he’s a solid qb 3 if we make room for him we all know dj most likely gonna miss a couple of games and who’s to say lock’s any safer back there ? We saw what happened to tyrod when he went down we can’t have another situation like that

I am looking forward to seeing Tommy in the preseason games. After he turned our season around last year I bought his jersey. He actually gave fans hope. Kid can run too...till he's tackled by a teammate...doh.

Devito will make a roster, hopefully the Giants 53. We needed 3 QBs last season so better to have 3. Plus Devito had success as a starter. A little more development and he's a solid backup

WRs-one or two will get hurt in preseason QBS-Gotta keep Devito. OL is still a mess and DJ won’t last 4 games before IR. Nice know your 3rd stringer can win a few games although not a lot. Plus, all Devito has to do this year is hit quick pass to Nabers, Tracy, or a now healthy Robinson for a YAC play

Tommy Devito, according to the numbers and every metric available is an NFL caliber backup number #2 QB. If the Gints cut Tommy, he will sign immediately to be someone else's #2. Lock is garbage & keeping Lock over Tommy would be a giant mistake.

Definitely Tommy DeVito. I don’t think that Daboll likes him. Daboll did a horrible job of coaching him last year. DeVito was sacked 37 times! That is RIDICULOUS! What a horrible offensive line. DeVito is a NJ favorite, which Daboll should keep in mind. But, as I said a few times last year, Daboll is a dumbbell! You can only disrespect an NFL player so many times. Frankly, if Jones gets injured and the Giants have a less than .500 record, Daboll should be fired.

I like DeVito, and I know he is a fan favorite and local boy who is actually a good guy too, but 37 sacks is more than just the offensive line not protecting you. Tommy held on to the ball way too long, and he just wasn't able to move and evade sacks too. Yes - the offensive line was bad last year too.

They will keep 6 wr and keep hodgins & BFW. Signing of Herndon makes it tough for Holmes, but I think Holmes better tackling and ST gunner gets him roster spot, Herndon and Robinson cut. Ezuedu cut, can't play G can't play T signed to PS if makes thru waivers. Lock cut and put on PS after not decisively beating DeVito. DeVito might make it thru waivers but why risk it. Just put Lock on PS and elevate if DJ injured. As long as Lock agrees not to sign with another club.

I like nabers but it's not a one man show our other wide receivers have to step up just in case if somebody was to go down but lets hope not we need balance and guys we can rely on back to reality people and you take away nabers from the equation they look at us as down graded at wide receivers so let's not get over our heads everyone has to be on the same page to make this work 🙆‍♂️

If for NO other reason, keep Tommy because of that Packers win. He lifted up a completely despondent fan base with a gritty determined, classy performance. And I think he is capable of doing it again if called upon. I’m pulling for this kid, and I believe that if he gets cut, he’ll quickly be picked up for a legit #2 spot on another team.

Y'all tripping...devito wasn't even as good as tyrod taylor. Shit taylor beat the eagles! Something we havent done in awhile. Devito looked decent - good in ONE game. Other than that he played like Garbage. I get it he's cllose to home and a "true Italian". he had more personality than jones so it was refreshing BUT he was still the 3rd worst QB on the team and still is now. Giants should have kept tyrod tbh he played better than jones and devito 🤷🏾‍♂️
