I have Si Intense 2021 and Si intense 2023. I think they smell quite different. I have never smelled the original Si. But to me Si Intense 2023 smells like a stronger version of Si Fiori. I also own Si Fiori. I find Intense 23 a bit easier to wear than Intense 21. But I find Intense 21 to be a more interesting fragrance. Probably because I felt like I already owned Intense 23, because it smells so much like Fiori.

I don't think it's more sustainable to have a plastic refill bottle, glass is more environmentally friendly since plastic turns eventually into micro plastics.

Also I think it’s not good when you can screw it up- air gets into the bottle and it goes off faster.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't understand the logic that buying plastic refill is better for the environment. At the end of the day you just empty the plastic bottle and put it in the bin 🤔

@@strawberryfields81Correct, I afraid with screw bottle the alcohol and others ingredients just easily gone or oxidized. But did you notice the oily layer when you spray Intense 2023 on your skin? I think they formulated this version special for the refill things

Yeah, why they don't use glass bottle like Chanel's refill perfume. Chanel has also 50ml refill bottle for their No 5 and they use glass, simple rectangular glass bottle with its own sprayer. You can carry the refill in your purse and still classy.

I discovered the black si intense from a friend I'd met while living in the UAE in 2015. I absolutely fell in love and it's been my favorite perfume ever since. I always get compliments when I wear it. It also bring back so many memories and nostalgia when I smell it.

Ah so timely ❣Thank you for this review. I received a sample of this version of Sì last weekend and I am really enjoying the scent. It is so feminine and comforting. Loved to hear your thoughts on it and the comparison with other versions.

Im a huge Si fan and own most of the flankers (apart from the Passione line which I don't like). The Si 2023 Intense is the birghtes in terms of fruitiness of all the Intense flankers. It's not listed but I get am almost peach note or something whereas the others are definitely blackcurrant. I think the new one is nice, it's got more vanilla than the other Intense versions which were either amber or patchouli based. But to me it's more of a day time all weather appropriate fragrance whereas the older versions were heavier and more night time leaning. I wish they had called this eau fraiche or something as it's not particularly intense.

My favourite is Si eau de parfum intense (2023). On my skin, the dry down is so beautiful with a Woody Vanilla ❤ it reminds me of La Belle le parfum by JPG intense and Intense Café by Montale ❤

I have waited for this review, thank you 🙏🏻. I’ve got the original and I’m almost done with the 2021 version. I’ve tested the new version and I can notice some difference, on me it falls pretty vanillary and I enjoy it. But I can totally share your thought on the lasting power, the original lasts so much better. I do not know if it’s worth the high price. I’m on the fence about it because of the performance.

I found the new Intense version syrupy and sweet. It's sort of smells like wine or a cocktail lol. It would be ok for the Winter, if you like sweet perfumes. I think I prefer the original Armani Si over the new intense version.

I stocked up on the black Si Intense and I'm almost out. I've lost my sense of smell so it's hard for me now to buy new fragrances. I don't want to rely on anyone else to tell me if they smell any good. Thanks for the heads up the new Intense isn't the same.

This is my next purchase but the reviews are horrible for the OG passione.. Have you tried the passione intense? Would you recommend the intense over OG?

@@marthakalomba3739 I also read/listened to the reviews and almost changed my mind about the purchase. I sprayed different variants of Si Passione on my hand several times (intense, eclat, OG) and the latter one is the one that convinced me. I recommend multiple testing to make the decision easier. 😀

Si Intense Black is my favorite, its like a dark wine or blackberry brandy with earthy Patchouli, 21 is very syrupy and thick and tonka bean heavy, this new version is bright and fruity but stronger than original Si, with a soapy rose dry down

Is there any chance to still buy the original black one? I've had a sample years ago when it came out and absolutely fell in love. I was still a poor student so I never got to buy an actual bottle. No joke I still think about its smell several times a week.

Im so sad about this! Im new to perfumes and found this and loved it so im sad its been discontinued so quickly. Ive smelled the new one and on my it smelt less sweet which i wasnt a fan of. And i love the deepness of the old which i find less in the new

I've tested both as I have them both. One on each hand and I can honestly say the new intense lasted longer than the 2021. The 2021 was stronger in the beginning smell but the 2023 lasted longer on my skin. I wonder if a particular batch made the difference? 🤔

Horrible? 🤣🤣 I have both and I find the old version very sweet. Lovely but VERY sweet. The new one I think is a blend of Si and Si Fiori. Beautiful in its own way. Intriguing 🤔
