Schmidt looks at directly at the camera/director after realizing what happened almost as if to figure out if they should cut, but keeps improvising with the "don't mess with me". Props to both of them...and the hoodie as pants is genius

@@skyward_rebel it's quality the entire way through wtf you talking bout? The only time it jumps the shark is the first time jess and nick break up. Which was obviously a lazy and forced way to have a change up going into the next season, instead of writing an intelligent and meaningful plot and reason for them splitting. It's one of the only times the show really let's the audience down. They break up for absolutely no reason at all.

his character is super different in the beginning. he's initially introduced as the straight man and i wasn't a fan of that either. eventually he got wackier and wackier
