New Glitches, Tricks and Broken Stuff in Super Mario Maker!

There aren’t many unpatched glitches in Super Mario Maker anymore, is what I would have told you, a couple of weeks ago if you had asked me. And very wrong I would have been. Turns out there are still tons of different Super Mario Maker glitches hidden in this game! In this video we will not only make a bullet blaster hover in the air, but also create a glitch elevator and break a lot of rules of Super Mario Maker physics!

A couple of glitches I have found: 1: you can make weird things happen by placing blocks at the very far right column of the level (when the flagpole is in the middle of the level), then moving away where the level ends. Ground blocks connect to air, and I even got a 2.5 block long pipe! 2. Put a big Mario in a Goomba shoe with a shellmet, and he can clip through cielings and hurt enemies through blocks. 3. If you don’t want two enemies to stack, put them 2 blocks apart vertically and the top one 1 block to the right, then give the bottom one a mushroom. 4. If you have a flying Bowser Jr. who falls of a cliff, hitting him with a shellmet hat twice in quick succession when he returns makes him fall really slowly. I encourage anyone to try these out, they can be really fun!

1: I already got this glitch of the 2.5 long pipe but couldn't reproduce it after doing it once! Thanks for telling us how it works :) 2: lul I have a video with that in it 3: If you don't want a big muncher and a small muncher or 1 small muncher and an another one at a 1.5 block using a tech you can put the muncher on a track, undo the track, and then the muncher won't be stacked 4: Really interesting!

Wait, I don't quite understand the first one... What are you supposed to do and what's supposed to happen? Also, I've gotten 2.5 block long pipes another way, but I don't remember what way. It had something to do with putting it on top of ground and then deleting the ground, but it didn't show in play mode.

The biggest glitch I found was discovered on February 13th, 2019, where Nintendo is making a patch so big, they're calling it "Super Mario Maker 2"

Lmao love the presentation of this Ceave :D (Psycrow) Remember to watch out for Nintendo when you're doing anything interesting with this game, people :P Oh, and for the bottom-walk thing I suggest think-they're-on-tracks blue platforms just 1 tile under the bottom (copies of it, since the original is always unstable and gets auto-removals) with stuff dropped on it... I think things put lower than that have trouble saving into a level (but blue platforms already move themselves down extra for some reason and keep spawning that way anyway).

A couple of glitches i found are in the SMW style, is you make a pipe that you can enter is just 1 block over the goal, and you place goombas under the pipe, you need to enter the pipe, get killed by the goombas, then play again, and you'll have the overworld theme while he wins. I also found in the castle area, if you use a skull raft and put autoscrolling to cheetah, then put springs on the skull raft, make the level as short as possible, and you will fall through the bridge at the end. That's all I've found, but great vid!

Here,s a horrifying glitch I found. If you go to the NSMU theme and let Bowser Jr use his shell spin attack into a Koopa Clown Car so that he rides it , his head will be GONE! You can make some pretty spooky levels with this glitch. This glitch only works with the 3DS version.

Here's what Nintendo should do with glitched levels. Patch the glitch then make the maker of said level re upload the level with the patch making sure it would be possible or not with out said glitch so the worst case senerio is to have the level be uncompleatable and not able to be uploaded

Ceave, please do tips and tricks with one - way doors: i found 2 things: if you put a one-way door on a wall (facing to you) and you wall-jump on that wall, it looks that the wall do a sound, but is the one-way door. This is good for decoration purposes, and the second thing is: you can do crazy contraptions with one-way doors and another things. Thanks for your videos, never stop doing them. Stay determined.

I don't know if you've seen this glitch before, but if you put 2 springs on top of each other, if you grab and immediately throw the spring that's bouncing as it's landing on the one that's on the ground, the thrown one will go very far upwards; it's like you threw it with the momentum of a spring bounce. I don't know if it works with other grabbable items, though. Also, I've only seen it in the SMW style.

I've found out a strange glitch too. If a mushroom is trapped between one-way walls (there has to be at least one one-way wall and it has to be faced to the left or to the right. Neither upwards nor downwards will work) and you hit a POW block, then you will have to offscreen it and when you come back the mushroom will be free.

I don't play this game. I've never played this game. I haven't even owned a Nintendo console since the Gamecube. But here I sit, binge-watching your videos anyways. They're so well done, and it's always interesting for me to listen to someone talk intelligently about something they find truly interesting. Also, and I admit this one is silly--I love your accent, man. I think I could listen to you read stock figures and enjoy it at least a little bit.

I have an idea for new dangerous list of evil stuff, don't lose the shellmit. You could have mario on a vine where he has to avoid spikes, and the ceiling is made of thwomps, so when mario takes damage, the next thwomp will kill mario. This can also be used like a checking device to see if mario has a shellmit or not.

I have an idea for you! If you use magikoopas then you can create a minigame where you have to trick them into shooting questionaire blocks to access red coins

You should really take a look at the puzzle community. ev_brak, robraf, lilithsm, and many more individuals collect some pretty obscure mechanics, glitches, and various things. Lilith even has a puzzle castle series highlighting some things, that are just now becoming public/popular.
