Here is an insane run on wizard. Starting with basically nothing and gearing over the course of the video, hope you guys enjoy :)! We get some new goblin cave layouts in normals and then run some high rollers! We did get very lucky.

Hey quick tip, just incase you didn’t know. If you run grey spell book it’s always better to use the magic staff for PVE because of the better base magical damage it does. One ice bolt kills basic death skulls and the poison flies. Also takes half the magic missiles to kill mobs. Sometimes you can use one missile and kill two goblins. Anytime I see a player, that spell book comes right out though. Staff for PVE, spellbook for PVP. Good luck everyone

Ice bolt definitely dose more then dark bolt its bc ur using a gray spell book and u probably used staff to cast dark bolt so its closer to ice bolt casting from a gray book

Wiki says darkbolt does 15 and ice bolt does 30, so legit half. Darkbolt is even lower damage than zap. Darkbolt is much closer to ONE magic missile than ice bolt lol.

Ye but scaling or something on bolt is weird Cuz grey staff bolt of darkness will hit for 40dmg to the head. Which is more than ice bolt / zap

great video! at 25 min after slaying the caped rogue and barbarian, the rogue had a coin purse! coulda stacked all your gold in that for extra room, but you must've been pumpin with adrenaline after winning these fights, so i understand how that can be overlooked :D Greed can get ya cooked so fast in this game, after all.

5:17 you dont have to cancel magic missile to dodge goblin archers. Just crotch after the shot is fired and it will go over your head. Also means you can magic missile someone in PvP with an archer on you for free

i agree. make wiz spells passive regen or give them a on-use spell regen (kinda like a better green pot). its so tedious having so much downtime or being caught with your pants down.

hey Red, just noticed it seems like when ever you spam a key stroke, a lot of sound coming through. i only noticed it today b/c i was listening with a subwoofer. you might wanna look into adding an EQ with a Low cut to your audio. Also super nutty finding that key, great way to start a wipe!

I agree. My friends don't play as much as I do so I've been using GC to farm gold for meds and an item or two each for them when they get on in the evening for our Crypts runs. There's still plenty of PVP to be had if you go looking for it but I like that it's so easy to extract now. And honestly, if you're looking for PVP, find a buddy and go Ruins, that place is a nuthouse in the last couple circles.

Why don't you use the crystal sword for casting spells? It has higher magical damage compared to the book right?

Damage is good and all, but when you are casting you are slower if I recall correctly. And the cast time is slower. It could also be possible with a book you can cast faster allowing you to output more damage and have more room for error.

He didn't play his best, he screwed up at the beginning and then clawed his way back. Some classes are just hard counters, Ranger is the hardest to fight as wizard.

The diameter of the ice bolt is too large and should be more comparable to the magic missile which is capable of going through many more structures.

Spectators eyes =/= Player eyes, It's super stressful to be looting while not knowing if there are other players around and sometimes your eyes glaze over things. Especially something like bolts that are small and he very likely never picks up, so they're not targets for his normal inventory culling strategy
