Morgan Stanley's watch industry report says Richard Mille sold 5,600 watches in 2023 at an average price of USD$300,000 each. We shouldn't blame Grand Seiko for trying to sell 20 watches at USD$365,000.

I agree. The only unknown is the brand cachet amongst the super wealthy. I can see them buying an RM, but I don't know how much bragging rights GS would have, but at only 20 units, they're probably sold out already.

The only correction is that the Mido's Calibre 80 isn't exactly the same as the Tissot Powermatic 80. They are both based on almost the same movement. Except the Mido is completely all metal with a Silicone Hair Spring for anti magnetism. Meanwhile the Tissot Powermatic 80 has a plastic escapement. Otherwise great video.

Not the same movement in the mido and the PRX, Mido is 25 jewels while PRX is 23 jewels, the two missing jewels are in the pallet fork being replaced by a plastic pallet fork instead. Also escapement wheel being also plastic in the PRX

Citizen are on fire at the minute...those chronos and day dates are absolue stunners...the clasp is an issue but replacing that for a milled clasp should be fairly simple... tbh if you have to make a cut back somewhere the clasp would be where I would want them to do it as the bracelet looks brilliant and those dials are superb with excellent build... Great video as always btw ❤

I still have a late 1990s Citizens Eco drive dress watch in leather and I never had to replace the battery. It still ticks after all these years. I don't know the model of it. I did have to replace the strap once but that is it.

Same as the LFA, the GS have to push their boundaries and innovate. The designs and technology will trickle down.

The citizen seems super attractive!! I liked the auto but the 39mm case is much nicer than 41.

24Hours At A Time, I would love to see you do a comparison between the Tissot PRX versus the Citizen Tsuyosa automatics. I am looking at both and wanted your objective opinion to help me decide.

Uff! GS is overdoing it with this one. May be in reality the watch looks better, but on the images i saw so far it looks strange. No matter if from the front or the back, it looks almost the same. The hands almost disappear on the "dial". But this is probably not meant to be worn as a watch to tell time but as a piece of art. I appreciate your content very much! Just facts without stupid marketing and influencer nonsense like "ROLEX killer" or "why this 100$ SEIKO is better than a ROLEX". Thank you very much for creating watch-content and not marketing strategies. Keep up!

The Mido being limited to 888 pieces makes me think the Asian market will get access to the majority of these watches.

Seiko is a better brand than RM and Jacob & Co, this watch is a beautiful statement, reminding us that Seiko is indeed God tier. I'm sure it's priced reasonably for the cost it took to develop it

Anyone who would pay that much for a machine that tells time has more money than brains. Grab a Mido before they embrace the soak the rich business model as well. Thanks for the great reviews.

In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on nkuwan
