I think we are probably seeing what ashworth and co. Can do with sales before we look at Neves is all seriousness. If there is any truth in the bids we are probably trying to get a view on what price would be realistic. If Benfica suggest something around £70m-£75m we probably go for him if we can get the required sales lined up.

Honestly I couldn't care less what happens on a training ground between players and managers and that is up to the club to sort those issues out, I want Sancho to play for us because he's a quality player that is still going to get better and so I dont want to see that talent go elsewhere 🤷

Wilist the new coaches and targets look exciting but we’re no where near close to finishing 1st next season ten hags philosophy in the new structure is going to take time to implement yes we might see better football this season but it’s a long term project at the end of day I won’t mind top 4 and sneaking in trophies next season as long as we play dynamic attacking football with high pressing next season should focus on a pattern of play

Newcastle got the better deal, they got £12M for Ashworth who’s nowhere near as good as Mitchell (quick reminder that Mitchell was Ineos first choice and rejected them) Then Newcastle get Mitchell for Free. Unbelievable business. Let’s not forget Man Utd fans are buzzing with Ashworth just like Newcastle fans were because they thought they were getting a transfer expert but Newcastle found out the hard way. Ashworth had NOTHING to do with any of Brightons transfers, they were all done by Sam Jewell hence why City, Chelsea, Barca etc all wanted Sam Jewell and not Ashworth. He finally just signed for Chelsea a few weeks ago.

Neves would be massive mistake in this window. Overpriced and overrated young kid with loads potential. He is direct competition with Mainoo. Rather see Ugarte and Rabiot now, and then spend on another 8 next summer. We also have McTominay, Mount, Hannibal, Eriksen, Case, DVB who all need to be considered either as roster players or sold asap.
