Wow! For the longest time people have been used to the carnival-esque style of Gucci that I really thought they have a market all their own. Now with the new creative director it felt like a laid back version from Tom Ford's collection at Gucci. I can see why you like the Jackie bag because it's definitely the Hermes trim's twin sister! They look so identical! ❤❤❤

I love the bordeaux color so much; especially in patent leather with the silver hardware. It looks so luxe. The bubblegum punk is adorable, too. Gucci hit it out of the park, as they still had the fresh, fun vibe; but the clothing and the bags were less out there and more wearable. Also, having two monograms, warm and cool toned, is going to have a much wider appeal. I can see people getting bags in both monograms for more options.

I'm really liking this collection too. I think I just gravitate more toward Italian style than French style. For some reason i never connected the Gucci red/green stripe with the Italian flag, but now i cant unsee it! Get well soon Jess 🌸

This Gucci collection is really subdued❤ it definitely subscribes to a more heritage/classic vibe. I love that new designed bag! I love it when designers create new silhouettes! I liked the neon green shirt.! I cannot pull off those high platforms. The Bordeaux bamboo bag is gorgeous! But I prefer big bags. You looked so pretty as usual❤

Agree, that Bordeaux Jackie really caught my eye when I watched the show. Gorgeous. The clothes were a lot more conservative w/out them being un-Gucci (still had those loud Michele era platforms). A few skirts with glitter threads/crystal hangings were spectacular. I think the collection was terrific.

I like the bags! I had a pair of flat platform shoes in the late ‘70’s. They were extremely easy to wear and comfortable. The extra height was delightful!

everything's beautiful. the clip clasp is resembling a snaffle bit... hmmm. i'm also loving the bubble gum pink colour. yes, the jackie bag is very attractive in that bordeau patent leather. i like the shape of the bag. it looks practical. the logo on the top is reminiscent of the fendigraphy. very clever!

My daily is a black Gucci messenger bag. I wear it more than my LV. It is a great bag for a decent price. I can wear it daily and not worried if it get damage. Plus it all the FLEX I need. Most guys don’t wear designer bags.

I loved the collection. The clasp is very simple and the colors and materials looked very soothing for the eye. Michele braught maximalism and thrift vibes, which was something totally needed att but now it's good to reposition gucci as a classy and sexy brand. Good job Mr. He has taste and so do you Jess.

This shift in the range with Gucci is long overdue IMO: too many of the designs were for juvenile delinquents with loads of parental money. And just way too many eclectic themes and variations. Now the economics of China have changed for the worse, all the brands are suffering and Gucci has finally grown up. There must be piles of unsold items behind the decision to replace the creative director. You can't go wrong with a Jackie bag. IMO

I am torn on this collection. To preface, I was an Alessandro Michele fan. This collection didn't have any standouts for me. There is nothing to buy which is good. If I want the look I can easily buy something second-hand for a lot cheaper which is better for the environment and will cut down on consumerism. At the same time, for me, there was nothing special that I hadn't seen before. Tom Ford is still turning out the same looks as his Gucci days so why not buy directly from the designer? Time will tell if this is the way to go. Also, I have lived through this styling the first time around so maybe that's why it is "boring" to me. Maybe if I was younger this would be exciting and fresh.
