Although I never thought their enclosure was small, for some reason it looks small and crowded for the piggies this time, funny, why would that be? I bet their upgrade is going to come wonderful. I'm very happy they worked out their bond, Nacho really seems to be the happiest with his new family, and the girls look comfortable with him too. Congrats!!!!

Great to see all the piggies in harmony🐹💕. I was fortunate to have a heard 5 bossy girls🐹 for almost 7 years. Never sick until the beginning of 2023 😔. So I quickly lost one by one & was so taxing on the 💔 strings ,this time around . Maybe because I raised them all from day 1 all the same litter. I do rescues & have had my fare share of losses, when piggies can't be saved 😔. The loss of my personal heard was completely different & I had no desire to open myself up for another heartbreak. Until I watched your beautiful eulogy about Pedro & your introduction of little nacho ❤. Thanks for the inspiration & now I have 4 obsidian babies & looking for a neutered baby bore to add to my heard. So Sorry for your loss of Pedro 😔 (all🐹) RIP "Rainbow Bridge" 🌈🐹✨️💕

Aww bless them they are so good together, adorable girls and boy now, I love Nacho’s hair ❤ I have a herd of 4 boys now, yesterday Stormy entered our little heard, Axel who is my oldest male of 4 months wasn’t too sure, Ollie and Henry brothers they are 3 months old, there was some chasing, rumbling and a lot of wheaking in the bonding pen, so after some time and a fresh cage for them to go into they settled together, although Ollie was once again chased by Stormy, I’m like he’s a boy!! New piggy mummy here so it’s all new to me too..day 1 today it’s still dark here 5:55am Monday, can’t wait to daylight and see what they are up too.. Bless them all..I love your Videos and look forward to them all the time. ❤😊

Herds of boys rarely work. Especially young ones. It’s likely they’ll fall out and you’ll have to separate, especially once they are teenagers. Guinea pig forum has lots of advice. This comes from a pig mum of 9 boys - 2 pairs and the rest are singles at the moment due to fighting/incompatibility. The last thing you want is to end up with 4 singles. Good luck with yours.

One of my girls thinks everything is meant to be climbed on. It's quite irritating as I had to remove their awesome fabric houses because she kept climbing on top and I kept seeing her little legs hanging out of the grids. She also doesn't like where I place anything and moves stuff around all the time, so always ended up in a corner with the house. It just got too stressful for me. She's such a brat! Lol. They have the corner tassled covered areas now and she can't move them or get on top of them and an extra tall cardboard box I made into a house for them that is too tall for her to climb on. :)

Aww so happy that nacho as bonding well with the girls. My boy Rufus loves sitting on top of things and of cause I encourage him by putting treats they he loves been king of the castle. By the way I’ve been watching some of your first ever videos what a difference looking forward to the next one

Nacho has some wild hair. You should maybe on day do a video on how you care for his hair, brushing or what you use ? just a suggesiton, I think a grooming video would be neat.

I love your videos! Sadly me and my sister could only get 1 guinea pig! It was the only one at this petstore kahoots. Were really conscious about her getting depression so we make sure the love comes from us! You made us do great care but we got a really small cage it was the bare minimum for 1 guinea pig it was only 8 sq ft. And it was 80 dollars we wanted to get this one on amazon it was a c&c cage but are mom was scared the guinea pig poop would get on the floor! Also that c&c cage was on sale for 20 dollars! Love your videos AND NACHO!✨

Sarah, they're SO SWEET, BLESS THEM ALL!! Nacho is absolutely beautiful, is Nacho a Lunkaryia? Cali is a doll, they're all just PRECIOUS, and I'm enjoying watching these videos, for some reason I haven't been receiving your video uploads, so I went to check out why, and I saw a few new ones. I lost 3 of my senior pigs over the last 3 and a half months, it's been very sad! I have 2 sows left, so I'm considering if I want more, I'm getting on in age now, and I used to clean at least 2 hours a day, between giving veggie meals twice a day, cleaning, storing hay, alot of work. We shall see! So happy for you, they all are so special😊!

Congratulations on the move to the cage! How cute!! The video shots you have of the piglets are absolutely perfect! Also, I'm excited to see the upgrade tot the cage as well! We tried building yours after watching your video and unfortunately we only had heavy material so the cage wouldn't sit well...but maybe in the future we will try again!

Sarah after I had a look at hay pigs I decided to get my piggies some goodies for them I'm getting piggie nom noms treat bundle they've tried one flavour of the burgess excel nature snacks so I'm going to try another flavour and I just bought them a 1kg bag of........PEA FLAKES!!!!!! I was looking at them *PEA FLAKES* and thinking they look very good and I look at the back and what do I see a medium pile of crushed pea flakes.🐹🐹🍈

Rumbling or Rumblestrutting is a common dominance behavior! He’s trying to tell the girls that he’s the boss now!

Purring can be a happy thing too. Its situational and contextual. It can be dominance setting, happy enjoying themselves, a joyful greeting or a warning due to being scared or sad.

I recently added a sweet baby guinea pig to my pair making our group an official "herd"! Yay! Since then, though, I have run into a difficulty: The new little girl (Maple) is peeing everywhere. My other two adult guinea pigs are pretty well trained to pee in the hay box. I have been trouble shooting how to train Maple and trying several things. Do your guinea pigs fight over the hay box? One of my adult guinea pigs in particular will chase Maple out, not always, but when all 3 try to get in the box at the same time, Maple is the low end of the pecking order. I have a cage that is (according to google) able to house 7 guinea pigs. How do your 4 share a hay box? I wonder if that is why Maple is having a harder time training. I tried 2 hay boxes for a bit, but I don't think that helped.

How long did you leave it since bringing him home to getting him in for his neuter? We’ve just brought home a male Guinea who we’re wanting to neuter and live with our sows, obviously want him with company asap but don’t want to rush him through his opp if he’s still settling in? 🙂
