Did you know you can always just shave off those nubs. Its an extra thing Honda does. Even Low and Mean has you do that with their modifications. SO if its safe enough for them. I wouldnt hesitate to shave them level here.

Yes it changed it. Still very comfortable as far as I can remember. I sold the bike a while ago.

Flying Wrench I bought some Biltwell Chumps 1 handlebars. Do you think the wires will be long enough for it?

xBZx24 no man, follow the throttle cable down and you will find that it’s attached via a grommet. Pull it out of that grommet and it will give it more slack.

xBZx24 oh okay, I thought you were using the same sized bars as me. I sold the bike a while ago. But they were called Biltwell Keystones if you want to look up the specs on them.

Devin Aino honestly, you definitely feel the difference. It’s a lot more aggressive feeling. I love it. But not by much. Your arms are definitely more upright though.

Yea, pull the brake cable grommet out of the metal clip that’s holding it in place in front of the bike and you’ll get enough more length

Nick Volpe man I’m sorry for blowing your comments up haha but I just want to make sure when I start the job I have everything. On the throttle side was there a tube of some kind in the grip that you had to cut out or replace when putting the new grips on? Thanks!

jackchase79 if you skip to 7:52 you can see what I did with the throttle tube. And to answer your question I cut the grip off of it with a razor blade and put the new grip on that I ordered via gorilla glue and safety wire. Super simple to put grips on.

Michael Mattox not too sure ... The brackets will only clamp down perfectly on a 1” bar. Maybe if the bolts are longer ? Doesn’t sound safe I wouldn’t advise it.

K TheFriendlyGhost nothing at all my man, the only thing you’re gonna have to do is free your break line from a clamp in order for it to reach, besides that fits like a dream. You’ll see what I’m talking about if your follow your brake line down.

@@nickvolpe7521 No need to be sorry! Shit happens. The side to side movement is thankfully the only thing I lost. I can still ride, just gotta try a few different bars and see what works. I know it won't be too hard, I'm just getting info together so I don't run into any snags. The Rebel is my daily so it can't stay down longer than a weekend. This looks like an afternoon job, so it should be good :)
