Excellent video! All breeders should be testing for this and any genetic disorders that can easily be prevented. When I bred corsos 20 yrs ago. I dealt with tons of epilepsy. I did some videos on it. I will share this in hopes it wakes a few people up. Thanks!

Thank you, I absolutely agree that this testing is must! I'm sorry you dealt with so much epilepsy but it gives me hope because it seems far less common now days which is awesome!

Thank you for being an advocate for this breed because they so deserve all the help they can get. Our Cane Corso, Asher, is a very lucky guy because our old downstairs neighbors' brought him to us out the blue New Years Eve 2021 to "puppysit", and I refused to give him back after seeing the condition he was in. They had no business with any animal much less this breed. They were evicted days later and he has never left our side. Asher who we call AsherMan is our baby, yet our guardian at the same time. We don't know where he came from, or even if he is 100% Corso. Where ever he originally came from had his tail done but not his ears so I believe he came from a litter that someone was trying to pass off as full blooded because I have never seen another Corso with Asher's colors or markings. Other than that he looks and acts like a normal 100+ pound male Corso. It scares me how popular this breed is becoming because that certainly spells out disaster for too many. People get a puppy without even thinking about supporting this animal for the next 10 plus years then the first thing they do wrong it's off to the shelter where they are almost always labeled dangerous. It's just not fair. So thank you again for anything you can do or say to spell out how much work it is and will always be to have this breed. Drax is an amazing dog and very handsome too, and I look forward to any videos you post in the future.

@@draxthecorso Too many of the "dangerous breed" rescues come with a sad story, but he doesn't know anything about that cause he lives like a king, with rules and boundaries of course lol. Even with all the training he still will resort to bad behavior if we don't take him for a 2 mile walk everyday. Idk what point they slow down, but it certainly isn't at 18 months.

That’s amazing this popped up ( again big brother watching lol) but a few days a ago my dog was acting “drunk” an not an everyday thing but she’s 15 months and I’ve seen it at least 3 times thanks for this info I didn’t know if she was eating something yo cause this but yeah it’s not an everyday thing but random…
