This video features a 40+ year old New Holland 1530 working at home. It is one of two New Holland 1530's that we have on the farm with the other one being bought by us in 1980 at roughly 4 years old and it has stayed with us ever since.
The one in the video was originally bought for spares but ended up being better than expected and kept as a combine in it's own right. Some years one was set up for oil seed rape and the other for wheat, how extravagant is that!!
But over the years it's had round bales dropped on it, clipped by the tractor and trailer and some how just keeps going.
It's quite a change from the big modern machinery I usually feature on this channel but I keep getting asked to film older and smaller machines so I try and film a bit of everything.
