With the new CR11, New Holland Agriculture is presenting a pioneering development in the field of high-performance harvesters at Agritechnica 2023.
The new combine was developed at New Holland's Harvesting Machinery Competence Center in Zedelgem, Belgium.
The new CR11 builds on the success of the current New Holland flagship range with its flagship model, the CR10.90. For almost a decade, since August 15, 2014, this has held the world record for the largest amount of wheat harvested in eight hours - 797,656 tons.
In addition, the new combine is equipped with groundbreaking Twin Rotor™ technology.
Thanks to the 775 hp C16 engine, 2x24-inch rotors, 20,000 liter grain tank and 210 l/second unloading rate, the CR11 significantly increases productivity to previously unattainable levels.
New Holland engineers worked towards the goal of designing a loss-free harvester by developing a larger and fully automatic double cleaning module.
The completely new straw and chaff management is equipped with a new chopper and chaff distribution system that ensures even straw and chaff distribution over a cutting width of over 18 meters.
A new fully automatic reversing process has been developed to reduce downtime.
The combine harvester's completely new drive train helps to avoid downtime, which is very simple with up to 25% fewer drive components and the elimination of all chain drives.
The CR11 integrates the new Intelliview 12 display and the IntelliSteer™ steering system as well as other important precision farming functions such as telematics and remote maintenance.
In addition, the CR 11 is equipped with a NutriSense NIR sensor that monitors plant quality using near-infrared light to analyze nutrients such as protein, starch and oil, as well as moisture content and create maps for further agronomic analysis.
