New Sith and Jedi holocrons have arrived at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge for May the 4th. Let’s take a look at the new designs and see if they are worth the purchase. Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities also received new kyber crystals. These feature new character voices and voice lines, as well as a new container.

I think Krin Dagbard is an original Galaxy's Edge character! I know she's High Republic-adjacent, but I don't think she's been in anything else besides the crystal... yet.

The blue Jedi holocron is much more iconic than green, the Sith one is definitely a nice upgrade!

Thank you for the video. I’m going to Disneyland for the first time this summer and while I’m there I’m hoping to build the three remaining lightsabers from gen 2 as well as get the new holocrones and crystals for my collection. Like you I really like the design of the new Sith holocrone. It looks more like the one in Jedi rebels while the first one looked like one described in the Bane trilogy novels. I’ll get the Jedi holocrone to complete my collection, but honestly not to hyped about it. Can you tell me if the Mace Windu crystal says the same as the gen one crystals or something different? I’ll also get the new yellow crystal to complete the set, but I’m not a big fan of Rey. Thanks again!

I’m sure there are people out that that do. We do not. That’s a lot. Especially with all of the new ones that just released.

I have every Disney kyber crystal of gen 1. I’m going to Disneyland this summer for the first time and plan to get the the generation crystals too. I’ll get the yellow one to complete the set, but I’m not a fan of Rey.

@@nucleuscyborg5036not sure they all will be rey… I got my blue and green in today, and my blue was plo koon, my green was like skywalker, so there’s multiple options for each color. Watched another video where his purple was grevious.

Does anyone know if a v1 black kyber snoke crystal sounds like sidious in a new v2 holocron?

I wouldn’t think the voices change based off the holocron as they are programmed to the crystal.

@@ostri94there are a couple on the disneystore.com site. You can see if you can get them that way. Besides that I would think a reseller but I never like that option because they knock up the price.

The leather one is a Cal Kesists wrap and the other is a com link from the sphero droids.

Do new crystals work in the old holocrons and vice versa?

I've been scrounging up what information I can online. From what I've gathered, the new crystals seem to work in the old holocrons only as specific characters from Series 1, one for each color. Blue = Ben Kenobi Green = Qui-Gon Jinn White = Ahsoka Tano Yellow = Jedi Temple Guard Purple = Mace Windu Red = Darth Vader Black = Snoke I haven't found anybody yet trying the old crystals in the new holocrons, but I assume they'll work as the old characters.

Last time I checked they had a few of the Kyber crystals on the online Disney store but not the holocrons. Typically these items are only available at Galaxy’s Edge.
