Ashley, I’m ready to purchase my outdoor furniture… I’m in Utah so we have crazy weather. Any thoughts on the wicker and cushions these days? How about covered vs not, privacy, and determining the need for the space: doing, seating, fire, etc?

Love how much you both care for your beautiful home, love the new patio and furnishings…etc. Ashley as OCD goes, I have it but don’t think of it as a disorder, just Order….I’d think it would drive you crazy that the outlet box under the middle window outside on patio is installed unevenly.

You could put a little plant caddy under the umbrella pot so it would be way easier to move around! A lot of them have wheels that lock and you really don’t even notice them under there. Game changer for my potted citrus trees on the patio!

I am in love with your new outdoor furniture. I don’t need any, but that is gorgeous and watching Chase picked it up and move it around. It appears to have some hefty stock to it so that means it’s not gonna move and blow away. I really like that.

Beautiful! I don’t know if you have ever considered this, but I highly recommend getting a retractable pool cover! It is a little bit of an investment, but it is so worth it! That is so much work you do to get the pool ready, the retractable cover will save you all of that! You can do one above the top edge or underneath and I promise you won’t regret it. I live In Kansas and we get so much wind and it blows things into the pool. it is so nice to just be able to push a button and close the pool when the bad weather rolls in or is forecasted. It will save you so much time on the upkeep. Anyway, I have one and just wanted to share my thoughts!

They asked us if we wanted that during install but it was very, very pricey at least through them so we opted for the manual cover option. But I know that would be amazing to be able to press a button and open or close anytime you want!

Power wash rugs they will look like new...I can't afford to throw mine out so I do that every season

I don't think people would have been shocked about getting rid of the rug had Ashley said in a voice-over that they had tried to power wash the rug and the stains were just too set in. I would have to power wash mine and really try to get the stains out. If I couldn't get them out, I'd find somewhere else to use that rug. I can't afford to throw things away so easily.

I just bought a set that looks very similiar. Are you planning to get another rug for that area? Ash, you should def get some greenery plants around your waterfall/pool. Maybe some majesty palms for the season. Just throw it into some heavy pots (due to your heavy winds). Water it once a day during the heat of summer. There are heat loving plants that are easy care. Try different plants to see what works. It would be worth the effort to learn about plants. They will add so much to your home.

Hi Ashley! It’s almost time for us to wash down and set up our deck. Unfortunately we still have snow coming so we need to wait. But it always feels so fun to set up our deck. We do use our deck all year, but with limited furniture. We can see our beautiful Rocky Mountains from our deck. I would freak out where you live with all of those bugs. The back yard is gorgeous and I like the seating area much better than the table. With that said, I know when we invested in our pool, we went with the automatic pool cover. Was budget a reason you didn’t opt for one? That was one of the best investments we made. That’s a lot of hard work. ♥️🙏🏼

As usual Ashley you knocked it out of the park! I think the sofa and chairs were a great replacement for the Dining table and chairs. I was thinking the same thing that Savannah suggested. It looks best that way and if it were in your home and the TV is the focal point you would flank the sofa and chairs on either side.
