It's lovely. I would however get a plastic chair mat to go under your chair, this will stop your chair ruining the carpet and make it easier to move the chair.

Love the way everything turned out. The pouf is great it adds some pattern to the area, and the mirror is gorgeous there as well. It reflects the light from the windows and opens the room up more.

The room looks great! I remember when me and Lindsey stayed in there!!! Did add a plant on the right of the mirror wall area!! It’ll add a little color or you can do wall tins!! I love the desk calendar and the room! So nice to have your own space I need to do this!!

I think the mirror looks great standing alone! I think it’s such a big, bold piece that it doesn’t need anything else around it. Even with the empty wall space around it, the room as a whole is filled up in such a nice way that having the one wall with just the mirror goes well together in my opinion 😊

Some white farmhouse shutters with the hooks for the mason jars so you can put flowers or greenery in them would be super cute next to the mirror. Or maybe even spray painting the mirror frame white. It turned out super cute! But I agree, something long and skinny next to the mirror would make it complete! ❤

So envious of your talent. As a retired school teacher, I never received any poor evaluations for my professional work, only my lack of skills in “decorating “ my classrooms. I always hung student work and posters of skills we needed to learn. I have learned tricks and skills for design from watching your videos. Thanks so much. Great teacher.

Looks great! I love the ladder shelf and the definition it adds to the room most (along with the textured pillows and ottoman). I think that mirror wall looks fine as is. Because you have all corners of the room occupied, the simplicity of the bare wall on that side seems to balance it out keeps it from looking or feeling too busy. If you do decide to put something there, maybe just a floating shelf above the mirror with simple live plants. Live plants always give a clean feel to spaces, but of course they also lead to the work of having to water them too LOL

I watch it on my tv which give me a much better view. It is perfect. The mirror is good how it is. You don't want to give it to much for over crowding. The room looks great! Love what you did with it. Your husband is great. I’m a single mom and I miss having my husband here to help me out. He passed away in 2011, so it’s just my daughter and I. Girl power ! 💪🏻💕. I use painters tape to hang big items. First I tape it to the item and mark the holes. Then I tape it to the wall with a leveler so I know exactly where the holes are. The toothpaste method sounds like a great idea too! I love the Velcro idea to hang the smaller items. Thanks for another great video! I like the “poof” haha!

I have to admit, I have never been a big fan or pink. I think that I just grew up in that era of Hot Pink Zebra stripe EVERYTHING. But your office has made me fall back in love with the subtle pink decor!! I like the poof! Another idea for down the road might be one or two of those basket tables like you have in your master bedroom. That was you can put throw blankets and pillows for the boys if they go lay down in there with you.

It looks lovely!! I think Kyle"s office should be next to say thanks for the help. He is a treasure. I like the pouffe, I wouldn't add anything else. It is an office and you don"t want to make it look too busy, (it would make it easier to get sidetracked). When the door is open the wall looks smaller

your office turned out very pretty. my fav was ottoman and pink pillows and throw... but everything looks great. On the mirror, let it rest a week. If it still bugs you, then make a change. On one side I like it the way it is-- not blocking traffic when walking, yet when see whole wall can see how you see might need something else. Kyle's office next. He works so hard for the family. when I have several big jobs to decide between, I do the one I am least excited abt first. The way it is easier and more enjoyable as I go although opposite on house cleaning... little accomplished job gets the ball rolling

Ahh boys bedroom...thought it was going to be entire basement....Amanda look at how your office is set up.... Exactly how it was downstairs...except you have the l shaped desk now. I think adding 2 floating shelves above each other on the blank wall would look nice. I love what you did, it’s pretty.

I LOVE it!!! I would put the poof under the mirror, against the wall. It can always be pulled to the couch if needed. On either side of tge mirror you could hang pictures of the boys/family but then in Sepia colors, that way it's not too busy and it blends in with the colors you used. You really have a talent to do make overs, great taste👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

If I were you, I’d do Kyle’s office next since he has helped you so much, followed by the boys rooms and then the guest bedroom. You have a great eye. My aunt was a decorator and she would have loved watching you decorate your beautiful home.👍😁 One more thing I learned from her is: when you hang art or mirrors, place a piece of furniture beneath it. I have seen very narrow sofa tables that would be great there and it wouldn’t get in the walk way. Some even have a bottom shelf that would provide storage.

Love your new office. I'd try your little bench seat under the mirror and leave the plant in the corner near the wardrobe. You inspire me so much!!

Love the new office!!! It looks great! Since the wall with the mirror looks so open, maybe add some type of storage/furniture underneath the mirror that can hold decor on top of it but will still serve as office storage if you need it.

Here is a nice tip. For my screen wipes....I get them at the dollar store. They are in a bulk pack of 24. so, once I have opened the foil package I need something else to store them in so they don't dry out. I got a small square Tupperware container that had a gasket on it. This ensures an air-tight seal. I then place the entire pack of wipes in the container in the center ad add a couple of drops o water on top, so the top cleaner doesn't dry out before I use it and pop the top on. I then put it in the top drawer of the desk ready for use about once a week. That does me for about two months since I use them for six monitors and two TVs in my bachelor's apartment.
