Hello Charlotte, your home looks soooo cool! I Love the Charm, it looks like an English cottage, I LOVE the beams! Keep the outer beams so it doesn’t look too busy! You could keep a fireplace n use stone veneers, like the neutral colored round ones n put a barn beam mantel or do that German smear to it, I think they call it, the character would look better than the brick n then just use it with fake candles in it or tea light candles in fake logs on a rack, that’s what I have in both of mine, just a thought, but I think it would sooo nice to change the paint color to a white, expose the beams, get rid of the built ins for more room in the rooms! it would brighten it up, keep it neutral n it would go with all of your decor! Get rid of the wallpaper, n get rid of the carpet, add wood look flooring! Also I have an Airbnb, it’s work and some ppl are not respectful n create more work with damages so certainly something to consider on how much time n attention u want to give it n do it yourself or pay a property manger for it, or just use it for self a family beach house n just rent to those u trust n know or something like that perhaps! ? Also the tile showing the house on the outside u could keep the same look as that n go with it from outside to inside! The round circle with brick along the garden, add some boulders around it, metal ring inside that n make a fire pit n put chairs around it, have a picnic table , n use the green house like a sun room etc. the ideas are endless, but it definitely can look FABULOUS! Plus it’s near the beach, gf I love it the way it looks, mostly, just needs some TLC! PLUS ITS NEAR THE BEACH, GOOD FOR U GUYS! Lucky to have that for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Your cute little babies are soooo sweet n just adorable, I LOVE seeing Lou, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO U BOTH! ALWAYS HAPPY to see your Mom also, HELLO MOM! Has the bones of a great house. Yes I would deffo keep some of the historical look in place, to match with the period of the exterior. But it could look so charming and the rooms are quite big, I know the kitchen is probably the smaller of the rooms which would be in keeping with the times, but you'll figure it out and I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Room 1: LEAVE IT!!! Change the floor and take down those terrible curtains but leave the white walls and beams. As a Canadian, it is what I imagine quintessional English charm to be😊
