Hi, Tati! Get yourself a white edding pen and just draw the „veins“ on the fireplace further so it’s looking like the veins naturally continue on the other side of the stone. You are an eyeliner artist, you can do the drawing!

I love how you spend date night going shopping and having fun together. Going grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do with my boyfriend because we banter back and forth and act silly. Grocery shopping for date night is such a “happily married older couple” thing to do. My husband and I literally giggle when we have a grocery date. It’s who you are with not where. ❤️❤️

I absolutely HATE contractors in my house but I absolutely LOVE the outcome! We remodeled our entire house while living here with 4 kids and 4 dogs. PURE HELL lol but it looks beautiful now. Almost done. Still have laundry room to finish.

Would love it if you did a video on what were the things about Texas that helped you pick it for your new home!!! I'm in a place where I know I would like to leave California, but not sure where to go :) Texas is on the list. Would love to here your experience researching, why you chose Texas (pros/cons). If that fireplace was one long block cut in three in the showroom and what arrived is obviously not, I would return it and ask for remake; that pieces not aligning would make me crazy! If it irritates you, I would say three more month of waiting are worth it to have a not-irritating center piece in main living space...

I’m here for the lifestyle vlogs, Love this new Tati even more and it’s great to see James back also and of course little Puka, I can’t get enough of him, he’s so cute and adorable 🥰, I had a little one the same with attitude but he was the sweetest little fur baby 🐶💙🌈. Tati, I’m one of those that have to have everything straight so I get where your coming from with your fireplace tiles, I hope you get used to them, they’d do my head in but hopefully once you have your decor pieces around it then it will take the focus away from the tiles. ♥️♥️🐶

I LOVE taking my time grocery shopping too, it's so therapeutic to me, I even got these huge insolated bags from Amazon (NZ Home brand) so I don't have to worry about taking too long at the store and the cold/frozen items get wonky, they hold the cold for hours and still frozen when I get home. BTW, the house is looking beautiful, so happy for you. 🥰

LOVE the vlogs!! Your house looks gorgeous, and that fireplace would drive me nuts too. You’re not alone there. You and James should try Central Market, it’s similar to Whole Foods but Texan-owned. Their store brands are amazing quality and less expensive. The stores are a little smaller but the quality and price make it worth the trip. HEB (their parent company) also gives a ton back to Texas communities, so I love knowing that’s what my money supports.
