I'm sharing how we do poetry and classic literature in our homeschool. I use the Charlotte Mason way of notebooking to track what they're learning. I have my 1st and 3rd grader write 1-5 sentences or facts, even draw something out. My 5th grader will write more of a summary and draw doodles or sketch what I'm reading.
