New Honda City (5th Gen) Variants Explained | V, VX, ZX | Petrol & Diesel | Manual & Automatic

The fifth generation Honda City is available with a 1.5-litre, normal petrol engine producing 121PS of max power and with a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8kmpl. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT type automatic transmission.
The all-new Honda City is also available with a 1.5-litre, diesel engine producing 100PS of max power with a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.1kmpl. It is available with 6-speed manual transmission only. Watch the video to find out which variant of the City 2020 suits your needs best.
Honda City base model’s price starts at Rs 10.90 lakh for the City V variant and its top variant, City ZX petrol manual is priced at Rs 13.15 lakh. Honda City petrol automatic base model’s price starts at Rs 12.20 lakh for the City V CVT variant and its top variant, City ZX CVT is priced at Rs 14.45 lakh.
Honda City diesel price starts at Rs 12.40 lakh for the City V variant and its top variant, City ZX diesel manual is priced at Rs 14.65 lakh.

You didn't mention the wheel size from v to vx. V have 15inch where as vx and zx have 16 inch

Hi. I was considering VX over V mainly for the wheel dimensions, additional airbags and digital instrument cluster as primary considerations. Please let me know if R16 in VX would make a significant impact over R15 in V in terms of drive quality.

Today I took test drive of rapid and city 2020 .. There is not even comparison.. City is the clear winner. We were driving on curve at around 80 in both cars in rapid we used to get thrown on opposite sides.😂😂 With city u could instantly feel the difference.

Nice review. Personally I feel that Honda should increase 10-15k for V variant and give the same alloy wheels like VX n ZX.. if that happens then they will surely increase their monthly sales... People who buy top variant will always buy top variant.. So ZX sales would remain same..

My opinion V is best option. Upgrade to VX over 1lakh is not justified. However, ZX look better option to upgrade. You are the best in car comparison and synopsis. Love 💕 it.

My Choice ZX CVT Petrol. (17lac on Road) Sir. Once bought no one switches to another car for at least 5 years. Therefore for me, a luxurious cabin and seats matter a lot. ZX offers leather seats and upholstery. Which are easy to clean and very comfortable.

I will go for zx as it is value for money. Price of all features given are accounted for. However, more could have been done but it should have been a higher varient with more price. V variant is also good for budget.

Verna SX is more loaded compared to City V with features like 1. Wireless Charger 2. Digital Instrument cluster with MID 3. Automatic Headlamps 4. Auto Dimming IRVM.
