As the son of the guy who started the Lancaster & Chester Railway museum (now passed former retired Trainmaster for the L&C Ed Sharpe), this warms my heart. Only ever seen her in B&W colors in the L&C lettering. This is just amazing. The Difco Dump Car does stand out like a sore thumb, though.

Another gem! I feel the spirit of steam railroading - as close to a time machine I'll ever get. NH&I and you deserve major kudos. Thank you again!

I Normally don't watch short train videos but this one was AWESOME!! Great Job! That Train looks awesome,I love the looks of it, the body style if you will. I see its a 2-8-0. That's a Baldwin built train right? What year was this train? Im guessing Lancaster & Chester were the original owners? If I may make a suggestion,it would be so cool if you did a documentary on this train,like who first had it & do interviews & go through its history & add this video 2 it & Talk about NewHope & Ivlyland.

So if I'm correct does the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad got 15 or 16 miles of track of the former reading branch line they use?????
@fuscoproductions4 жыл бұрын
EvanF1293 officially 16.7 miles from New Hope to Ivyland/Warminster. In order, stations along the route include: New Hope, Lahaska, Buckingham Valley, Wycombe, Rushland, Ivyland, Warminster (SEPTA).

The bell sounds like Great Western #90 or Union Pacific #4466. The whistle itself sounds a lot like Strasburg #7312.
@capitollimitedproductions2116 жыл бұрын
Erich Diebold Well they were both built by the Baldwin Locomotive works so that must’ve been their standard bell type for newbuilds.

I'm curious as these freight cars for photo and video excursions and living history displays or are they used actively for revenue service?
