Most caladiums (big red leaf plants) need shade. They'll struggle in full sun. Plant on the east side of the house in shade.

Maybe you could plant a hedge to block some of the noise over time. It is so beautiful there. You have a beautiful home.

You are on the right track in planting your fruit trees, time goes by fast and you will be harvesting before you know it! PS: You will get use to the noise to the point you will not hear it sometimes! I don't hear the distance trains and whistles anymore as they move through my neighborhood!

For some natural sound barriers outside, plant some bushy plants at the front of the yard. Also, sound proof windows should help. I usually don't like for furniture to block a window, however, I think it fits better that way. Looking forward to more of your videos.

FYI: If you don't know, Castor beans are deadly! One bean can be deadly. This tree is not worth the risk in a private resident, caster oil is a cheap item to buy! Imagine if a child picked up one of those beans and put it in their mouth!

I think you should not block the light. the room has such good lighting.

Just wanted to encourage you about planning a tree so close to the house cause the roots will start to spread under the house which can cause structural damage in the future. The mongo trees are better away from the house as much as possible. Also coconut trees so close to the road it’s better in the back. Just a thought
