I've been grinding and doing some major trial and error work trying to figure out the best process available to you right now, and I think I found it! This is my personal process that I've pieced together, and you won't find this EXACT process anywhere else on KZfaq - I've been doing this for years, and I've only just started! Some of us dont have the microsoft.minecraft package in the adv file exp (fulltrust), as someone whos downloaded mods and went through this exact process before i had the minecraft folder before but now i dont, can you help find a solution to this problem Edit: you can add it in yourself look up on youtube "missing microsoft minecraft folder"

Hi there! 😁 ✨️ the mods are sprye conquest, ybiomes, medieval furniture, and Mr. Crayfish's camera tweaks. The sky is consoleshaders and the texture pack is my texture pack I've been working on for a couple of years. I just recently made the Java version of the pack, too! Plan on releasing it soon to the Marketplace ♥️

No I think it's the one thing I forgot to mention this time! Lol 😆 I always forget something, but the answer is yes! You have to redo this every time - I usually tell people to load up as much as they can before the reinstall process 😊 hope this helps! ✨️

i remember i used to do this from my computer (i think i connected my xbox or made an xbox folder or something on my computer). can someone verify if this still works or not? because last time i tried, my mods didnt show up where you add them on a new world.

It would/should work if your FTP still connects the same, but you'd have to follow the uninstall and reinstall process I show in this video 👍

Why don’t I have a behavior pack folder and a resource pack folder. I’m going to try to make them hopefully that works. Edit it didn’t work is there anyway to get these added?

If you have problems you either 1. Didnt watch the whole video and skipped over the part where you go into the spongebob game to download the og minecraft or you have to look up abother video to manually input the folders. And poof there ya go

Hi there! It is finicky sometimes! I even struggle with it sometimes 😅😆 so you have to like press B and then move around the right stick and then also try pressing the little select button on the middle left of your xbox controller - this is what brings up the URL part of the app and sometimes makes your cursor appear as well. Most of the time when it's not there, it's off the screen in the bottom right. Hope all of this helps! ♥️✨️

Hey just finished and mine doesn’t work? Is there wait time for it to load in or did I do something wrong? The only things I did differently was I deleted and reinstalled the other version of Minecraft before I downloaded. And I downloaded my packs to a drive and put them in from there

Yes but this method shows you how to download the old MC that can update to the newest version. So you're adding content to the alternate version of MC. Let me know if you have more questions or run into any other issues ☺️

Hi Jojo! No, you probably are doing everything fine - it can be a pain sometimes! Lol 😆 try downloading the gamepass version, see if it let's you download the other one after, delete the gamepass one after. If that doesn't work, I'll try and make an updated video to help you out 😁

hey I figured out that if you open Minecraft and then search for the spongebob version of Minecraft it will let you download the old version of Minecraft. When its downloading you can uninstall the new version and when it finishes downloading then you can update it

@kato4275 hi Kato 😊 hmm that's really interesting 🤔 I'm wondering if there was a point in time where you were playing the OG minecraft that I show how to download in the video and somewhere along the way your worlds started saving to the game pass location instead 😅 that's the worst case scenario. It's possible that since it's the first time you're doing this, not everything has loaded to your app yet. I've been doing this for a LONG time, so my files and everything are in the right place and usually don't have a lot of trouble. Maybe try downloading the version of minecraft I show in the video, play those worlds with Adv File Explorer FullTrust installed, play them with packs on etc, save and quit, quit out of your minecraft, and then restart your xbox and try everything again. It's possible you need to "wake" up your files since this is your first time doing this 🤓 I could be crazy but it could work 🤷♂️ lol

Hi there 😊 yeah sometimes the cursor acts up! If you press B/move your right stick around a lot of the time you can get it to show up. It's usually lost down off the page in the lower right hand corner of the screen. If that doesn't work, try pressing the select button and pull up the url. Sometimes that gets the cursor to show up too ☺️

When I try to download the resource pack my curser doesn’t show up, how do I fix this ?

usually I press B on my controller and move around the right stick (it's usually stuck off the screen in the bottom right hand corner for me. You also should be able to press the select button on your controller (small one to the left of the xbox middle button). This is what pulls up the URL and options up there and should let you see your cursor! Hope this helps! ❤️💕

Yooo howdy! I don't see why they would! The marketplace addons are attached to your account whereas the addons or mods/maps/textures you add with this method it's adding it to your game files - should be fine ☺️✨️🍻

I heard you can use mods on a realm if you use the second slot of the world realm options for creating a realm from a world. From my understanding, this slot is glitched so you can even still earn achievements while the addons are on (I've only heard through the grape vine though! I haven't tested it out myself yet)

turn off your automatic updates on your console. Next time your microsoft store goes to update, pause it and then uninstall it ✊

@iRubisco ok so on Minecraft it say i have no behaviour packs and ive rewatched your vid like 5 times and still nothing the only thing i can think of is that uwp file doesn't have the same files in it like the AC,app data, local cache, roamingstate,settings,systemappdata,tempstate files in the uwp file and i am wondering why and if thats the reason and i dont know what to do about it (sorry if this is long i tried to put as much detail as possible)

Hmmm that's a good question - I'm not 100%. I feel like as long as you turn on the setting under the resource pack settings that force your friends to download your packs when they join 😄

@Eee-rk4vt Thanks a lot for your interest! The most updated version of my texture pack isn't available publicly yet - I've been working on it for years and plan to release it within the next year! Just the other day, I got done updating a bunch of the UI, cement, terracotta, and bunch of other stuff ☺️🥳♥️

I'd say like 90% safe lol 😆 it has had some moments where peoples' worlds get corrupted. It's really hard to explain in a short comment, but it has to do with game pass and the version i show how to install in the video. They are technically different games that run the same minecraft versions. I've been playing the OG version [non gamepass] version of MC for so long that I've never had any issues with it amongst a lot of other people. However I just can't give you a 100% sure answer as there are rare cases of it negatively impacting people 🤷♂️ hope this helps ❤️

You do update it though 😄 I show you in the video that it'll update after you manage go install the proper version fully - if it's not letting you download the special version of MC, check out both of my more recent shorts and they should help you 😁✨️

Yep, but you put it in the minecraftWorlds folder with file type .mcworld instead of .mcpack 😁 hope this helps ❤️

@@iRubisco when I uninstall MC and get the old one downloaded. When I hit update it becomes the new Minecraft automatically. Did I do something wrong or is it because I haven’t spent the $20 to own the game.

i found a way to be able to earn achievements with mods on, you have to have a realm membership though

@@iRubisco in the 3 worlds you can make a realm for in spot 2 you can add your addons and for some reason doing it this way doesn’t disable achievements

@ayzenmedeiros6164 hi there! 👋 😁 unfortunately it just takes me time to make content but getting things on preview isn't too bad. You pretty much just have apply those mods etc to a world on your normal minecraft by following the normal process. Then when you go into Minecraft preview, you want to import the world you put mods on and it should work 😁

I understand, but unfortunately it's one of the only ways to do it. You can look at my other videos for the other app I've used a lot, but it's a fairly similar process. If you want to mod or get addons, this is one of two ways of doing it. The other method I've been showing off the longest is an app that costs a few dollars. Hope you get the hang of it! ♥️

Hi sorry you're having issues! You don't loose everything. You most likely didn't install the right version of MC or it updated automatically to the wrong MC. if you have been playing MC for a long time, you most likely need to do the following to get the right version of MC and retain your worlds: Turn off automatic updates for your apps/games Wait for Microsoft store to update, pause and cancel that update. The right version of MC should be available for download in the store and should let you follow the right video steps at that point. When restarting your MC, everything should be back 😁

@@iRubisco I did all of that I reinstalled the latest and right version It has gotten rid of most of my worlds and progress in the remaining ones, the mod also wont show. one thing that did happen was there was no Microsoft.Minecraft folder so I had to make one and put everything right in there, I doubled checked to make sure everything was right and it was, I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.

@iRubisco hey I figured out that if you open Minecraft and then search for the spongebob version of Minecraft it will let you download the old version of Minecraft. When its downloading you can uninstall the new version and when it finishes downloading then you can update it
