Wow the evaluation bar was jumping up and down all over the place. Great job in explaining why that was happening and what they were missing. For those commenting that the game was of poor quality, I question how much blitz they have played. Look at some recent games of the Rapid & Blitz championships on KZfaq and you will find GM's dropping pieces like patzers. Maybe this says it best.... “The worst enemy of the strategist is the clock. GMs would trounce them both, as Nakamura did when he showed up. The only difference is that usually these guys are very entertaining due to the trash talk and lovable personalities. This game was an utter bore; bereft of both the raw talent that a Nakamura video would have had and the entertainment that a Dave x Mike video would have provided. Silent Coffee Chess videos is CC at its worst, and it's shocking that Brian has run this channel so many years and is still unaware of this.

For the record, morphy for his time was better than Bobby Fischer was…..morphy was 200/300 points stronger than his closest competitor

Capablanca and Morphy achieved the most with the least work. Hence both were declared a genius. Morphy himself considered the ability to forsee positions of promise beforehand the sign of talent. The rest was arranging them over the board. He stated that Staunton had no such talent, hence only a mere technician.
