Thats a nice kit. Appreciate the concise instructions. The green grey scheme is one i would definitely pick

Excellent review Peter. RAAF Beauforts caused no end of trouble for Japanese merchant shipping in the New Guinea theatre.

Another great review and one more kit to add to the collection 👍

22 and 217 both flew out of RAF Thorney Island near Chichester at one stage during the war. Now a base for Royal Artillery Air Defence Regiments.

I'm amazed at how many new kits ICM are producing given the current situation

Hi Peter. I must admit I have never really been sold on 1/48th stuff as when I was young and cutting my teeth in modelling this scale was not very well served. Not only that but as a kid I was only interested in 1/72nd scale. Thats not changed I,m afraid. But I do appreciate a good kit. This new kit offers all the detail the average modeller will ever need. I think that I.C.M. have raised the bar over recent years despite the ongoing turmoil in their country. They really seem to be cornering the market these days in very high quality models. I just wish that some of the other major manufacturers would up their game. Are you listening Airfix,Revell,Dragon,Hobbyboss,Hasegawa and to many more to mention. This is mainly in military vehicles in the small scale. Excuse my ramblings. Anyway great kit,great vid and a 10 out of 10 for yourself. Cheers my friend.

Peter sap is semi armor piercing. The Beaufort is a good looking plane. ICM has done a winner here.

I watched Gary's Stuff box opening earlier today, looks like a good model.

Hello Peter, nice production! The 1/48 ICM Russian WW2 fighter Yak-7 di , YAK-9 ( early ), Kit # 48041 is a fantastic, cheap kit, heavy on the detail. Check it out! Cheers! KC CA USA
@steve1315
Looks nice 😎
@markgordon2260
I have got the original Mk 1 - a nice kit, and although the plastic is soft, I haven't had any issues with glue. It would be nice to see them issue a DAP Beaufort (Australian made), with the P and W engines, and larger tail. There apparently is one resin conversion available. Australia produced 700, compared to the Brits 1,180. Another Australian version of an aircraft that would be nice is the Avon Sabre in 1/48, although CAC only built 112 out of the ~10,000 total Sabre/Fury production.

Serious question Peter. Is part D 49 meant to be the toilet?
