New Iguana Cage Makeover

I'm really liking these static scenes of the animals just doing their thing. It's my favorite, I literally sit in front of my tank for hours just watching the behaviors and growth. I figure it's the same reason I really enjoy these shots. Keep up the great work Kenan!

Wow! The enclosure looks amazing! I like how you layered the rock and made it into a cave for them.I'm sure it will help a lot with the visual barriers. But like you said an injury can happen to any animal in any enclosure and any animal owner. I'm sure that she will greatly appreciate it once shes all healed up and ready to go back outside. Very nice!

Thats one awesome enclosure, and exactly what they need to prevent the same damage. Seeing this new girl for Stumpy makes me realize how bad the other one is injured. Charring wood heps it not absorb water giving home to fungus that will rot the wood sooner. Charred wood can last many years and even in some cases when buried many centuries. Think post tips for raised round houses above lakes.

You could could make a smaller door in the enclosure. I wanted to watch them toConverse and interact a little more It would of been interesting and quite the learning experience. Since I live in Canada and no one I know has any lizards.

Hi Kenan. Do you think you can set up a livestream in the future so that we can watch more of the iguanas interacting with each other? I guess the permanent enclosures would be the best spot. Just wanted to see more of the interaction between these two. Pat Great enclosure. They must feel safer in this one.

Great cage makeover! Hopefully they will feel safer and won't be bashing noses. I wonder what kind of eyesight do they have? Maybe from a distance they couldn't see the wire screening? Hopefully now they won't run into it.. but I wouldn't blame them if they were scared of Slinky. Maybe in the wild a water monitor would eat them? I know he got that one on the tail once...was that Guapo? I still like Slinkey though!

I cant wait to see how they do together. I have been watching two Chinese Water Dragons and sometimes it gets really intense to see the communication. We dont really understand everything is what I have come to realize lol.
