As of March 5th 2020 this glitch is still working. For the people asking how to stop the “Moon Jump” glitch, all you have to fast travel to a shrine next to a stable, get your horse out, and mount your horse; Moon Jump stopped.

As a Breath of the Wild 100% runner who was around for the first Korok Seed Glitch, there is a few things I can clarify real quick: 1. The Map meter will likely stop progressing when you get the 900th Korok seed. After the 900th seed, the map should not tick up for Koroks anymore, which means that 100% still has to visit all non-Korok Locations in addition to the other requirements for 100%. Nintendo likely put a cap on how much each of the map triggers can contribute to the 100.00% map meter. 2. Because of the first infinite Korok seed glitch, duping Koroks has already been banned from 100% on the main Breath of the Wild Board because there is a source requirement similar to how Ocarina of Time has a source requirement on their collectibles. However, on the Breath of the Wild Extension Board, there is a category called 100% (Dupe Glitch), which is the equivalent to 100% No Source Requirement category in Ocarina of Time. The rules for duping Koroks will likely need to be reworked because the old dupe glitch required Trial of the Sword DLC, but any run that comes involves duping Koroks will go there. 3. Rough estimate at the moment for a 100% NSR Breath of the Wild Speedrun is in the ballpark of 18-20 hours because All Quests runs about 15 hours, this takes hopefully in the ballpark of two hours, and there's a few other odds and ends in 100% (namely armor upgrades) on top of All Quests.

Seems to still work , pulled it of once, After 10 Times falling down with activation Sound of A. The Timing has to be on 1 Single frame or so ^^

When you finally make it to the tree and are trying the glitch, press A much sooner than shown in the video. I had the most success when links head was below all of the "shiny leaves"(when free falling) . If you accidentally prompt the korok dude immediately load your last save. Hope this makes sense

Linkus, here's an interesting tidbit. The bug applies to previous save states. If you want, you can save in a particular area then reload a different area if that is faster than travelling. The bug applies to all saves that were available to the game at the time the bug is triggered. Also there is a way to cancel the anti-run aspect of the glitch as well. You can fix climbing and other aspects of the bug. It also has a really strange interaction if you use the fastest possible horse and make your way and find a bear to mount. If you mount a bear instead of a horse... Some funny things happen. Give it a go 😅

After few minutes, I got the hang of this. It's very hard to get the timing. You have to practive hard. And avoid when it's rainning. The lightning strikes exactly the spot where we get the korog seed and chop down tree, make it impossible to carry on. And as for the glitch, I died once and the glitch was automatically gone.

That's cool thanks for sharing. Now I don't have to re-find all the koroks when I just want the expanded inventory for this playthrough. If only I could figure out how to shield clip better, and skip the master sword trials on master mode now lol they kick my butt.

This still works - Timing is difficult Couldnt even get one the first 30 mins or so Now I can get it multiple times in a row right and then still have some fails in row again. I see those flying-leaves-trigger as a sphere What works for me is to start falling with the top of links head just about the top of the sphere and press A at the lowest possible point of the spere Hope it helps

Ok that’s really cool, but won’t it mess with the game if you go above 900 korok seeds? There are only 900 available normally is what I mean

I figured out a way to pull off this glitch with 98% consistency at the push of a button. It involves macros, specifically with an 8bitdo pro controller. If you don't own a 8bitdo Pro or a controller with macro feature that has specified inputs Im afraid you gotta fork over $50 or else you're SOL 🤷🏿‍♂️ Now for the Macro, you can set it for the P1 or P2 handle grip buttons. I input 18 Jumps (X) and 16 intervals between each jump button at 200 millisecs then I'm left with 2 more inputs. I set an interval at 600 and then A button, hit enter then save and its all set on my profile. Go back into the game, moon jump to the korok tree (Its recommendable to cut down the tree to avoid the leaves) face away from island standing northwest about an inch away of the tree stump (Link should be facing toward the sailboat for good reference). Once you have everything lined up, hit the Macro and it should execute the glitch consistently with rare hiccups. All you have to do then is accept the seed wait few seconds and turn around facing the boat rince and repeat. The game will Autosave after accepting the seed but you should save before doing this first time. If you ask I can post a link of me doing it if you arent convinced

I wonder if this will have any impact on inventory overflow. Or if this other glitch you mentioned will. I've had an idea for a challenge run for a long time but it hasn't been possible without modding due to weapon durability.

There's a isolated korok at Mount Faloraa that I think the biggest majority didn't get (the one on the video for example I've already gotten), still doesn't tested but prob works

This glitch is still working as of 21/1/2020 but damn this is a lot of work. You need to save every time you get a korok seed and if you miss the timing, you'll have to reload the previous save each time and walk all the way from the shrine. You need to have patience and perfect timing for this glitch. I reckon you'll get 1-2 korok seed in every 1:30 min (with failed attempts/loading time) each time... so think about it.

Okay so this works and is decent once you get the hang of it but, i would like to add a few things that are critical. 1. When you're mounting the second horse. Pop out of the glider then spam mount button. Timer DOESN'T need to hit 0!!! saves many head aches. 2. After getting into the "moon jump state" make sure to pop your glider or something to get off the horse before teleporting away. 3. If for some reason you find yourself in slow motion speed and cant sprint or anything, you need to teleport to nearest shrine/tower or load from your last save file to fix. (This has been happening to me if i grab hold of a cliff or step wrong... REALLY ANNOYING)

I can never get the timing right. Plus my load file always starts at the shrine even if I save at the tree making it so tedious to practice repeatedly.

Guys don't swim with the moon jump it'll softlock ur stamina if u run out. The only way to get ur stamina back is a cutscene or warping. Yes it works in trail of the sword

I'm finding it very difficult (and extremely frustrating) to time my moon jump right so the korok kid doesn't appear. I've been able to do it a few times, but damn it's annoying when you have to reload your save constantly. Is there a trick to it to get it right every time? Or is it just kinda hit n miss?

Yo I just figured a sick way of movement you just need to use the shield surf trick after moon jump glitch and then you pull out your glider and then hit y you just move really fast in a straight line

Q. If you did this to unlock all the weapon/shield/etc. slots and then go off to get the rest of the seeds naturally, what would happen?

Tip: You dont need to wait till 0 sec for u to jump on the horse, i did it at 1 second which then works, meaning u can still do it with 1 second on the clock if ur on the horses

Its weird when I did this glitch I saved and then accidentally got the Korok and now when I went back to my saved file it puts me back by the horses even though the saved file says Faron grasslands i also found out if u cut the tree down its easier to not actually get the Korok but just the seed it seems lol

This can dramatically reduce the time of the 100% speedrun. Doing this shouldn't take more than 6-8 hours at most. Divine beasts, shrines and map locations can be completed fairly quickly with good strats.

This is much easier to do with the seed on top of the akkala tech lab (shown in a more recent glitch), no other movement glitches required. Walk up behind the lawn chair till the seed appears, hold L to lock yourself facing the seed, then just back up and press A at a moment similar to this. I'm guessing it would work with other seeds that are on the ground as well, like the ones hiding in frozen blocks of ice, using the same process. It seems like there's a small amount of space where the game thinks you're able to collect a seed, but just outside of the actual range of the seed so it doesn't know that specific seed was collected already. Problem is, they don't work once the seed has already been collected. I got lucky with the one on the akkala tech lab having not collected it yet when I heard about the glitch This reminds me of the fury rush teleport glitch that also takes advantage of a menu state vs Link's actual state/location. I'm guessing there's a core "bug" in the game where it's basically deciding whether or not Link can perform an action based on the menu being displayed. And if that's the case, we should continue to see lots of ways to exploit it

It makes the noise like I’m collecting it then it doesn’t let me collect it

Another tip: use the dpad to freeze time (like when you switch weapon or shield) it helps with the timing

I just wish this wasn't so damn hard to pull off. I'm lucky if I can average 1 seed per minute with this glitch. I tried using the travel medallion to mark right below the tree for reloads, but unfortunately it always reloads you back at the last autosave spot.

This is gonna make the 100% route SO much easier!

Quick tip for those who are doing this glitch: YOU ONLY NEED 441 seeds to fully upgrade inventory. So that cuts it down by HALF. This glitch is great but takes FOREVER. Good luck. Cheers!

Just gonna say there is a new glitch where its so much easier to get infinite korok seeds at akala tech lab. Literally u get behind the chair and move back a lil and click. It basically this method but not jumping and shit

So I had 62 Korok seees, right? Well then the next time I open the game, it’s says I have 43. I wanted to save up 100 of them, so I was paying really close attention. Is this because of dying a lot, or is it a malfunction?

I got the glitch done but I can't run he just does the walking animation and when I'm holding the b button it shows the stamina wheel draining but link doesn't actually sprint
