New Ink Day - Dominant Industry Maple and Earl Grey Tea

Күн бұрынMy friend Angelas gifted me some funds to play with and I bought some new ink!
Eye Update:
Surgery was as successful as possible. Apparently, I had a "severe" retinal tear. I am lucky to have any sight at all in that eye as a lot of the cells the retina attaches to had died. Will likely only regain 70% of my vision. Glasses will be able to help with some of it. Distortion(aka "funhouse vision") will remain, though will hopefully lessen over the next 9 months. People will continue to look like pinheads out of that eye for some time. Driving maybe. Bicycle maybe. Roller skates never again. No current need for more surgery.

I’m not finished with the video yet but i am loving this neighborhood drama! It takes me back. I grew up in the projects, and the drama was never ending. I remember one time our neighbors got into a drunken brawl in our front yard and broke beer bottles and left broken glass in our yard. my mom, a whopping 5 feet 2 and 120 pounds soaking wet, went over to their house the next morning and she pointed her finger at them! She said “how dare you! I have children here who need to wake up early for school, and I have to go to work. You get over to my yard and bring your dustpan and broom and you sweep all that glass out of my yard that you left right now!” When we left the house to walk to the bus stop, our 6 foot tall muscular gym bro neighbors were sheepishly kneeled over the yard, sweeping up the glass while my mom watched with her arms crossed and they apologized. LOL!

I love your mother! The neighbours on one side of me are having the most hilarious teen daughter/father war that is cracking me up and reminding me of my youth! She is no match for him though.

Love all the colours and the stencil collection you have! Ok ... Another thing to remember, take the clean bottle to the pen show and we can swap dominant industry inks too! I might have to start a list or I won't remember everything 😅

Keeping inks in boxes also helps them to shield them from direct sunlight. And I can't wait to hear what you think of Earl Grey Tea. Not there yet.

i have a few bottles of dominant industry ink and really like using them. your colors are totally different than anything i have. it’s nice to see colors i wouldn’t normally select. thanks for sharing your new stuff. you have a very nice friend! 😊

my favorite is manschurian violet! then, i have downpour and autumn forest. those are very moody colors but the violet is very bright. it flows flawlessly in any pen. i love that! 💜 what is your opinion with the writing experience from your collection of dominant industry inks?

Omg I’m dying about the vocal fry! I didn’t even notice you had vocal fry. That is such a rude comment for people to leave. People are crazy. For a long time in my videos i didn’t use my accent because i had gotten rude remarks before but i just embrace it now, life is too short!

i would love to do a youtube channel but my accent is so thick (texas, usa) i know with 100% certainty it wouldn’t go well. so i have a fantasy channel with one follower, my little dog. he’s a brilliant listener and we have grand conversations. 😊 i admire anyone that has the courage to put themselves out there.
