I lived with a person (flatmate) with Ketu in their 1st house (but also plenty of other planets there). My issue with them was that they were inflexibly who they were: this is me, deal with it. There comes a time, when you want more than just to adapt to the other person, or just accept what they serve to you. I don't know if this is a dynamic you can relate to, but maybe it can help. It was quite frustrating to me, because no matter in what way or how much I expressed disapproval of certain ways of doing (because it was harmful and irresponsible to them), there was absolutely no change, zero. So I left. I also noticed this person presented other people in their lives with fait accompli. And when these other people were fed up, they left. This person also attracted a lot of people who were clearly interested in the advantages being associated with them. When problems arose, no one was arround any more. But this was this persons' own doing, because they weren't willing to commit to other people. They just wanted someone to keep them company and do things together that they wanted to do. It's like people with Ketu in the 1st appear interesting in their self-sufficiency and you want to know them, but when you are together with them (friendship, relatioship), they won't really compromise.

​@@daniela.septembre7936 This doesn't really apply to me, as I spent most of my life trying to appease those in my life so that they'd stay in my life, only to see them leave anyway or abandon me, the moment I stood firm on something. It is only after giving up on that intense desire to be wanted, loved, and liked by others, that I have been able to come to peace with things, including being more self-sufficient, being confident of my decisions, and not being so sensitive to rejection by others. Your third paragraph doesn't make sense to me. It's true that those that come into my life have come seeking some sort of "advantage." I'd be committed to helping them expecting only companionship in return, and once they got their fill, or at the moment they decided my advice wasn't paying out, they left. And frankly, I never asked anyone to find me "interesting," to poke around for fun, then leave once they found me "uninteresting." Maybe I never found them interesting, but they didn't care about that; they just decided to project all kinds of desires onto me and left when they realized I was not that kind of a person. I mean, no one really asks me if I want them in my life.

Well, no, because they don't speak English. It's not a problem, just don't be too needy of relationships, something Karla Smiley is talking about in her answer to my post, and make sure both sides in a relationship agree to the decisions regarding both sides (no one should just deal with what the other side has decided for both - if it is something concerning both sides, both sides should come to an agreement). But as my astrologer (Sam Geppi) says, with Rahu-Ketu axis, we don't really want to listen to outside advice or opinions ... Rahu just wants to be free to experience and Ketu "knows everything" already. I guess that people who are born with lots of planets conjunct Ketu are here to perfect a lot of things, otherwise I don't know why they would be born with such a position. As I read in a decription of Ketu not so long ago: Ketu is refining the material to bring it to the spiritual. Ketu in its nature is not of this world, but once you put it in a house in an astrological chart, it has to deal with concrete things. It wants to express the essence of the thing indicated by its position, but in this material world all form is so limited that it can never express its full essence, hence the eternal dissatisfaction and criticism of Ketu. Apparently the solution is a detached improvement of the area indicated by Ketu. With Ketu in the 1st house I imagine it to be about what I am willing to do differently myself in order to have functioning relationships with other people. But I'm so used to being how I am and doing what I do ...

A lot of what I say in my answer to your post does seem to have to do with Ketu being in the 1st house with lots of planets (so focus on self is strong). I'd also say that maybe with Rahu in the 7th you are not seeing clearly in people who you are attracted to (at least when younger), so you attract people who are not really compatible with your personality. And no one is compatible with everyone, so your task seems to be to become more discerning with other people, but also to learn when it is the right time to adapt.

I have the same placements as you, the same story and the same age too. I wish you overcome and triumph this, with all the effort you put forward it has to be your final story! For me, I would consider it to be the biggest achievement of my life to just be able to have normal, steady inter-dependent, mutually loving, caring and lasting relationships. Still tumbling at every relationship hurdle no matter how much I study or work on them and how much I work on myself. It makes me feel weak sometimes just desiring normal relationships when most people seem to just have them. Probably especially soul aching as a libra ascendant, that’s what we’re supposed to be about.

You basically narrated my whole life. Just know that you’re not alone. I was born during Rahu mahadasha and my dad was not there for the first 8 years of my life. Bullied for being overweight, had to be separate from my mom due to some circumstances. I have never dated or even held hands with anyone. I mostly don’t care and ready to live and die a virgin lol. But sometimes when I see my peers get married, I feel like is there something wrong with me? I hate dealing with people, I love the occult science so tend to be with my books in my lovely studio apartment being mesmerized by this wonderful science. Also very spiritual but I am also in ill health. Ketu has literally been ruling my life. They tell me I have a pretty face but when someone approaches me, I get scared and run away… dunno why, but I feel like other people cannot handle my true nature. Hence I cannot open up to them. I don’t trust them. I don’t feel confident around other people. Sure I can be social but when it comes to having close friendships and partnerships, the feeling is very close to a suffocation. But at the same time, I crave for a partner who understands me and loves me for who I am.

Me too have Ketu in Virgo and Rahu in Pisces with retrograde Jupiter in 6th house. My challenge is in relationship where my partners backstabbed me and right now going through a divorce proceedings by an abuser and his family. @@vinayakkamath4927 not a good one, brought me colorful new relationship in my life, broke up with one of the best human being and let cruel woman enter my life, she even made baby with me, she held her family against me I went to court to fight for my son. Finally I got him but still life is not easy with this woman. Lesson learnt - do not make any serious moves during this time, don't trust if somone entering in your life they can cause more problem or may bring permanent problem to you. Do not think of any relationship during this time. Technically screwed up my life beyond repair. Be "extra careful "

Lol are you… me? Only difference is that I’m in my 30’s and have a very short bandwidth for ppl. I love isolation. I literally get exhausted when I’m around people. It wasn’t always like this. I used to crave “sex in the city” type of friendships. I’m a bubbly person, however, friendships and relationships were impossible for me. Especially since I lived in NYC. In my teens & 20’s, I deeply desired relationships, but it always evaded me. Now, after one weird relationship, I’m very put off from relationships. And yet, I battle between wanting children and the only way I’m bringing kids into this world is via marriage. The beauty of it all is that now, I kinda expect it to be short lived so I shut it down at the first sign/2nd red flag. And I’m 2 steps away from living off the grid. Also I grew up in different countries around 9 yo. She’s pretty accurate.

Any gender with rahu 7th ought to be careful of opposite gender. Esp rahu in leo is fatal. Always use brain before heart.
