New Iranian president hopes to revive nuclear deal

But the agreement has been on life support since former US President Donald Trump scrapped it in 2018, and months of indirect negotiations have failed to restore it. Will a new reformist president in Tehran raise the chances for its revival? Reza Hatami reports from the Iranian capital.

A sovereign country should not need to do this in order to be treated fairly. However, practically speaking, I understand why they may choose to do this.

The cost of living in Iran is very good and cheap compared to the western countries,for example petroleum and gas is very cheap,also Taxes low. during shah many americans were coming to Isfahan for living and the low taxes.

Pezeshkian might not be pro west but he is liberal for sure. And well I still dont see the narrative failing considering that pezeshkian wants to restore ties with the west and reduce tensions between each other

@@syedmuhammadmustafa7684 I mean there is nothing wrong with reducing tension or even making peace with western countries. But if he's actually trying to fully embrace the western kind of policies and making allies with them, then that is the real danger. I hope that never come to be.
