As a nail tech, (weirdly) I love seeing other people's grown out nails, because it means they were well done and didn't lift or chip... It shows your tech's talent and mastery 😊

I also like to ink up pens with a specific purpose in mind. I generally have 4 going: one for work/to do lists, one for journaling, one for my 5 year journal and then an EF preppy for writing in my calendar. I do like to have the inks in them coordinate, though, and I change up my palette pretty regularly. I almost never write an ink dry!

how often do you switch inks?? part of me wants to stop filling my pens fully and change them more often (once a month is more often than normal for me lol) but also i am very lazy and hate cleaning them lol. do you change them all at once, or whenever the mood strikes for a specific pen?

My goal is always to make it the whole month, but I don’t usually make it that long 😅 It’s usually more like every 2 weeks. I don’t fill my pens the whole way, though!

lol thank you!! the next video they will look better 😌. i get used to them growing out through the month and dont notice, and then i see them in situations like this and im like "oh!!!!!!!!!! this is not great!" lol

It was a great video! I ordered a laurel green 3776 with sf nib after watching. My wallet didn’t think it was so great lol. I have a lamy lx on the way that might just get immediately returned

yes!!!! i kinda want to get one (1) M nib for shimmer inks bc i’ve never used a shimmer ink before because i was afraid of clogging. but i feel like i would never use it for everyday writing so im torn

@@nic.lol.eplans I have a platinum preppy in 03 I use specifically for customer order notes. It's nice because of the slip cap that prevents drying and it's pretty affordable. 🙂
