this tank is made for double shots, from the double barreled tanks is the one that punish you the least for doubletapping and it also has the shortest salvo preparation

It's more like the ISU-122S with a lot better mobility and two guns with better gun handling I've got the regular ISU-122S and the only two things I hate about that tank is the turning speed and the gun handling

I don't know if you wanted to comment me. If so, these are like two completely different tanks which you are comparing. I think the tier 7 premium tank ISU-122S is a better comparison. Or ISU-152 and ISU-152K. Of course ISU tech tree tank is better. But that's just because it has a higher caliber gun and better alpha damage.@@MasterMind75427

I'm going to try to get this tank. Looks fun to me The regular ISU-122S is enjoyable as well but the gun handling and mobility aren't too promising. I hope it will feel better with this tank

Looks promising until the honeymoon is over and you will be facing tier IX and X in 70% of the battles. That is my gripe with tier VIII in general.

And what's the problem? You have more than enough penetration to deal with higher tiers, your Armor is already bad at tier 8 so it doesn't matter if it's tier 8 or 10 shooting you. Nothing changes except for getting hit harder but you also have the chance to farm more. Stop whining. Tier 8 is by far the most played tier so unless you play at off peak times you will get equal tier MM more often than most other tiers.

@SirMcAwesome tier 8 is not the most played because it's the most fun or where most people want to play. It's the most played because that's where you HAVE to play in order to grind out credits. You talk like tier 8 is great to play in. It really isnt.

@@SirMcAwesome I am not whining, just sharing my observations. There are much better paper armoured TDs in tier 8 with better pen, mobility, accuracy, camo and traversable turrets. (Scorpion, Su-130 PM…) I usually play between 11 pm and 4 am which you can safely call off peak times imo.

Yes you are exactly right, it's because of premium tanks and credits, I never said or implied that ita popular because it's fun, maybe you understood it wrong but aside from "popular" I didn't say anything to claim it's fun. ISU-122-2 its platform and shape looks like an arty that housing is impractical for TD , maybe they wanted to add a premium arty but got scared and added twin guns because the no armor and mobility would fit in the Soviet arty line just fine.

From what WG said about it, you're supposed to fire both guns in salvo all the time, because you get punished if you try to fire cyclically, because of the 7 second lock time versus 2 seconds prep, 1 second lock on salvo firing. It's meant to double shot all the time, not single-fire

That 7 seconds when swapping barrels is ridiculous. The 703, which also uses 122mm guns, only has a 5 second swap while also having armour and a turret giving it way more flexibility. There's no reason this tank shouldn't get 5 seconds when swapping barrels as well. Frankly there's no reason to play this thing over the 703 considering it offers no advantages and only drawbacks. This thing needs the time dropped to 5 seconds or it needs more armour to make it more interesting in my opinion.

It has MUCH better dispersion when firing both guns in the stats. That's the advantage of this tank, you're supposed to fire doubles all the time

Yeah, 703 II looks way superior in every single way, just has worse gun handling, but it is a brawler, so you are shooting in close ranges. 703 is one of my best performing tanks, and I don't play specially well with heavies. Don't think this tank will perform that well, I will pass having the SU-130PM already.

On the NA server I don't think they sold all of them I got mine for minimum bid. I just played my first battle which was as soon as the tank appeared in my garage. Out of 30 tanks in the battle 26 of them were the ISU!!!! I got one double salvo for 888 on an ISU with regular ammo.

I tested this vehicle on the live server for more than 100 games and for me as a TD enjoyer it is one of the best prem out there. Gun is not trolling, maybe if you go for DP and you did not fully aim. I had very few battles where I did 0 damage because of the gun. I am going for double shot 80-90 percent of the time. Since is this tank mobile - I like getting to the position - shot for 700-800 dmg and till enemy understand what happened, reverse speed is good enough. For this gameplay I am using aimer and vents. If you want to outspot lights you can put there even binos. Overall is 4/5 just because you cannot bounce anything, maybe just tier 6 if you are lucky. And fun is ofc 5/5.

Yeah it’s flexible enough in my opinion. Just you can’t expect to bounce, so you need to keep in mind. So it’s not exactly 268 4. It’s slower 268 4 without armor but more reliable gun. Base pene is awesome too. Didn’t have to reload golds too often maybe like on Scorpion G, just when there is +2 mm and you are lucky enough to meet heavies frontally

in my honest opinion, this tank ws just made to double shoot. your reload is same as intra clip, meaning you just have BAD dpm, and double shots come out fast, and have like .2 seconds lockout or something like that

I haven't played it, but I think it's best to use it like an Rhm. The double shot looks awesome. It has the highest alpha of T8 TD and way better dispersion than the 700-750 alpha guns on other T8 TD.

It's probably going to be a difficult tank to play for the average player. It's a total glass cannon with terrible gun depression. If you're a really good player I think this could be borderline broken.
