Good day, I got me T8 end Febr, and has now 12K kilos on, Lots of gravel, tarr and some sand. I love the space inside, he mere fact that the car is lifted with about 3cm, and bigger tyres, it handles the gravel road conditions very well. I Normally deflate the tires 1.8 before going on gravel roads. Her traction control is just amazing . recently took her on a 500 km trip from Omaruru via Okambahe to Omatjette - Uis to Henties Bay. Indeed a joy. I had at some times pushed her to around 130kmp on gravel due to the event I was covering , and drive in 4H I still got around 9.0L/100km. The brand is backed and supported by M+Z - Mercedes dealers in Namibia - just more than happy

I purchased a 2024 model JAC T8 Comfort in Lima, Peru. I put 6000k kilometers on it in two weeks due to field work. Got to say the truck is solid, worked perfectly. The 4x4 is quick to engage (much faster than my 2023 Nissan Frontier). Love the infotainment system with full android. Love the power although it is noticebly slower than my Frontier. Interior quality is a bit lower than your typical HiLux or Frontier, but it´s getting there and well within current acceptable standards. My dislikes: No power outlets other than after market cables put in by the dealer, no volume knob. Steering volume buttons on the right side, makes it dificcult if hand is on the gear lever, no lock on the bed door, had to put in an aftermarket lock. First gear is VERY short and lacks torque at the beginning. In tough situations you have to give it a lot of gas before letting go of the clutch to get the power you want (note this was at 4500 meters above sea level in Peru!). Now the best part of all, the price... paid USD21k dollars, way below the cost of a new Toyota or Frontier and spent about 2k putting all kinds of upgrades at a local shop, doesn´t get better than that! Finally, it looks great!! Looks better than most other trucks on the road. Gotta say I am a very satisfied customer.

The T8 is authentic and affordable. It will handle pretty much anything life throws at it. It arguably looks better than the Toyota if I'm being honest

we just switched from the 2018gd6 to t8 pro 2022 infotainment toyota is whack and when you got stuck at 9:00 haha it actually faster than the news in dragraces its hard for toyota to get toyota to get a beat MZ sells it here in NAM its da first year here so resale eventually will rise tech will always influence the market

I purchased a 2023 T8 4x4 diesel and received it with basic instrumentation faults. JAC Motors is NOT good in it's quality control practices. Their network of dealers - uneducated & unprofessional. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Anyone who has bought a shiney new product from China knows where this ends. No way this JAC is even in the same league in terms of long term durability vs the Hilux. So in the end the JAC will be the more expensive choice.
