Black tie ends up really growing on you. It's like sniffing a marker, pungent smell that ya almost don't like but ya keep going back to smell it, then ya realize ya appreciate how it mixes with the orange which is a really green orange making it a smokey orange, sweet and mysterious. It's become my favorite. Wife hates it in all honesty lol.

I won’t lie I definitely went out the way and got caught up in the hype with Date and man was I upset not in the fragrance but for the price I spent on the fragrance I’ll never buy into the hype. I agree this is a weird approach to ‘black tie’. If I was to be out black tie I’d reach for Royal Oud or Grand Soir, something like that.

Well...I liked Office but as an" Office" perfume it failed at its job, right? I mean it's too loud and juvenile for an office and always struck me as more of a young, mall Dylan Blue style fragrance with nuclear performance. So he has a history of hilariously missing the mark on his stated purpose. I hear you on not hating on fragrances because they're works and visions but those Jeremy prices! MICHELLE PFEIFFER!!! I was looking forward to purchasing this because I often wear a black tie. I was expecting to see at the most a $150 price tag on release date but when I saw it had a $391 price tag, it was a hard pass for me. Even if he were to throw out a 50% discount, it would still be a hard pass for me. I agree with you, citrusy notes are not black tie to me. I’ll stick to Amber Absolute.

You could get Enigma parfum for this kind of money and that would suit a black tie event million times better 😃

Admire Jeremy for his success but I’m not a big fan of his fragrances. I go nose blind to Office due to heavy Ambroxans and I feel he’s more of a designer, mass pleasing guy which is fine. I just prefer more challenging or unique scents. I’m not a huge freshie fan either, but again he’s a very successful influencer with a successful brand and I admire his work ethic and passion. 👍🏼

Funniest thing about fragrance ones cologne- is i initially like 1. office right off the bat the best than thought it was bland; 3. date for men was the worst to me too sweet and smells bad; and that if i had to choose 2. black tie was second in the line. For the first i thought black tie was weird and awful… Now after all the time date for men i wear the most cuz office smells great but black tie is overall my favorite. Meaning date for men still isnt my favorite. Reordering in the way i like it 1. Black Tie 🤵! Being the best. 2. Office i had the most in the package 📦 deal; i got (3) office deodorant packed with office for men, date for men and black tie for men. And 3. Is date. All 3 of the ones for men apperently were 100 mL. im no hype men for him but out of all my cologne fragranceone smells the longest- but than again i havent tried alot of the other KZfaqrs yet. And the last cologne i bought was a solid 800 usd you may know is Creed Aventus* It way better than 89 usd colognes but than again im not sure 🤔 what it takes to make extrait de parfum… obviously 🙄 its Black Tie for men. Office was over done and all my fragrance users i know but after having 3 plus one extra bottle i like them all differently. Just needing the unisex and whatever ones im missing

I agree with you as you described. BLACK TIE. I feel that Western culture is in their perfumes. It is structured around these notes. BLACK TIE. Agree with you should be a warm spice of mysterious amber

Troy have been waiting on a review on this one great review . My opinion is the best Black Tie fragrance is House of Sillage The Formal hands down . Not knocking this fragrance something that I haven't tried the price, the presentation doesn't equal the value and just judging off of notes it wasn't going to be worth the price .

I think the prices have something to do with the perfumer. He went big instead of looking for someone less known who still knows about fragrance.
