I’m a Rangers fan but I love the Devils intros. When I was about 5, 6 or 7 I went to a Devils game. I went for the Devils because I didn’t know anything about hockey at the time. The Devils beat the Flyers at home 5-0

Our playoff intro needs to be so much better this was incredibly weak compared to a lot of NHL teams as a New Jersey Devils fan I demand they put projections more of a hype up presentation and for goodness sake if you guys don't have the budget to put flame pyro in there at least show the darn New Jersey devil you know the actual thing the team's named after

Hard to believe this would be Ray Shero and John Hynes only playoff appearance. How could this be possible with Ray after the playoff appearance streak he started from 2006-07 - present as Penguins GM? Did his brain just stay on vacation when he was hired here?

@@fogalicious2644 Pretty much; organizational cupboard was bare after Lou's tenure, and Shero seemed like he kind of wanted to rebuild the system while also trying to ice a competitive team...and it just wasn't going to work, there wasn't enough depth to work with here yet. I'm glad they finally committed to a legitimate rebuild the past year and a half. As for Hynes...his system just sucked.

Anyone else find it ridiculous how Keith Kinkaid was traded 1 year later after this after that hell of a run he went on late into the season that got the Devils in the playoffs for the first time since 2012? This is the thanks he gets from Shero for this.

And FYI that 'tv screen' is the world's largest in-arena center-hung scoreboard in the world... 9,584.9 square feet and weighs 88,401 pounds...

The Devils weren't even expected to make the playoffs. The fact that they were able to actually make it this far was amazing. And the Devils got a handful of other goals outside of the 5-on-3. Part of the reason TB did so well was because Vasilevsky was on fire throughout the series. I don't know how much longer he'll last. Plus, you guys got lucky by getting away with some shady plays. I don't know if some of those plays are gonna fly in round 2. Also, it was very classy of your fans to boo Brian Boyle in game 5 ;)
