You know this vehicle actually started the "Small Car Revolution" in India. This was the first generation of the Maruti Suzuki 800 (SS-18) . There is an iconic photo of our PM Mrs. Indira Gandhi handing out the keys of the very first car to a Sikh Gentleman. The factory from which it was dispatched is located at Manesar, Gurgaon. The most interesting thing is that the factory now produces all suzuki vehicles for not just India but exports various models ( most of them not available for India) to 60+ export destinations.

Boss the information in this clip needs to be amended. I owned 2 Suzuki FX cars one after the other in the 1980s, the latter of them a 1987 car (with a genuine air-conditioner). In 1987 they made white, beige, grey and blue colours --- with grape-green at the end. There were none of this colour. It is most definitely not in original paint. By the way, a "shocker" is something that produces a shock. The correct word here is "shock-absorber".

I am using this car still and in last year I spend 4.75 lacs on it as its my Father's car. Main issue is, now In Pakistan Suzuki Fx genuine new and use/kabli spare parts are not available, Kabli parts are repaired and Lahore made spare parts has no life.

Where all the world is heading forward in terms of technology, Pakistan has come from Mehran to FX and may go even worse
